Did you really just say this about a version of a game that you haven’t even played?
I’m sorry to ask a question that’s been in this thread before, but google is failing me. Is it possible for people in other regions to buy games off the US PS3 network? I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to get my grubby hands on this when it comes out.

affinity getting pretty ridiculous with the theory fighter. He sounds like he doesn’t really know those characters as well as he thinks he does either. It’s kinda sad.
what’s sad is Japanese created Super Turbo, and they know more than me about it, but they made fighters like Fei Long and Cammy suck compared to the others anyway. 
despite my limited views, at least some of it is true, I’ll hold off on saying whether the devs have done a good job with ‘everyone’ for Remix mode, but imagine if Ken/Ryu, Zangief, Honda, Balrog, Sagat and/or Vega were the lowest tier characters, how would you feel about that? :razzy:

Gief already is low tier. Fei and Cammy don’t really suck in ST, they’re both very usable characters, and so are Zangief and N Hawk and Blanka. ST is already a reasonably balanced game. It doesn’t seem very likely to me that this game will end up more imbalanced, both because the changes were made by people who know ST pretty well and because it’s patchable later on. I wouldn’t worry too much that one character or another will be too bad or too good. When I say I think Dictator will be top tier, I’m just saying I think he’ll be relatively best, which is to say not that much better than everyone else.
Where… did you get the idea that its priority is worse? The Cannon Drill acts EXACTLY the same as before outside of it bouncing higher when it is blocked. Otherwise, it’s still 100% anti-air and 100% Psychic DP friendly. So it’s not THAT much worse like you think it is.
I still hate the change, but I’m uber-biased because I liked having a safe Cannon Spike. 
Really? Hahaha. No no no. Cammy sucks. I once said to friend of mine, “Cammy’s not really that terrible. She only really has trouble against Honda. And O.Sagat. And Guile. And she’s not very good against Ryu either. And she kinda sucks against Bison if the Bison knows what he is doing. Oh, and she loses to Balrog badly. And Dee Jay.”
At that point, I stopped and changed my mind.
“Okay, she isn’t very good.”
Don’t get me wrong, she’s low tier. But saying she’s low tier in ST is not the same as saying she sucks; she can still compete at least reasonably in most of her matchups.
I find it hard to believe you can say that with a straight face. 
well anyways the fact is HDR has improved her, we have yet to see how much of a disadvantage her blocked cannon spike is now, but it’s better than what ST has done. :tup:

The point is that ST and its characters were already pretty well balanced in comparison with most other games out there.
Not really. Shes low tier but she’s not 3S Sean. Its the same as saying yeah Chipps low tier in GG but he’s not garbage either. He loses the most but it doesn’t mean his options are crap. Cammy and Chipp both have stuff to work with while 3S Sean has jack shit.

That’s a good sign. The fact that this is a dual platform release, and Capcom has some pull, means me could be seeing this sooner rather then later if there’s no snags.
Anyone know how long these submissions take? EDIT: I hope ms doesn’t say wait a minute the art sucks do it again!

On a completely unrelated note tekeen6 is coming to 360 I might finally get into this juggle heavy game.
HD Remix will be submitted next week… Sweet! That is really good to hear.

Submissions usually take a month. But HD remix has a special “status”, so we don’t know when it’ll be approved and/or released. Then again, Capcom is probably not sure either, hence the tight lip.

anyways the 3S Sean example made me feel better about the whole low tier thing. :lol:

IMO he’s been nerfed instead of juiced up and here’s why(IMHO)

His flame kick has longer recovery. Why this was done, I dunno…but when you have N.Ken doing jab DP’s all day with all of that invincibility PLUS fast recovery I don’t see why Fei’s flame kick was slowed down. If anything, his short flame kick should have been given more invincibility because he get’s owned hard vs Ken and Ryu when it comes to wake up corner traps and crossup games. Now that I think of it, this is probably what he should have received instead of tweaking his chicken wing at all…speaking of which…

His chicken wing(NKI! :rock: ) has taken a “one step fwd, two steps back” turn for the worse. Yes, you can go through fireballs with the short version of the kick but he has longer recovery. This helps Gief fight the fight better but against everyone else Fei is gonna have to stick to his ground game…don’t forget, this chicken wing kick now has less priority in the air as well. The ability to combo off of this kick was one of Fei’s greatest advantages but people forget how insanely hard it was to actually LAND that huge combo to begin with…especially off of the short kick version of the move. It is much easier to combo off of fwd and roundhouse versions of the chicken wing. The opponent would practically have to be standing still and let you hit him if you want to land all 7 hits. Now that he has longer recovery the move is going to be almost useless at close range, especially vs Gief, Hawk, Bison, Vega, Sim, Blanka and Honda.
Some may also argue that Fei still has all those frames of start up invincibility with this move but to be honest it has such a long startup animation that the opponent is able to at least trade hits if not counter it completely before the kick even does anything to them. From long range a good Fei player has to GUESS when to use this kick to get in, much less use it as a combo tool.
I’ll bet money that Bison, Vega, Rog, Blanka, Ken, Ryu, Sagat and Sim are going to own him harder than ever before.

I wrote this a time back. But the majority disagreed with me. At least some see the same potential problems with HD Fei and his chicken wing. (I now feel validated as a man!! :lol:)
You know, I’m not sure why this change to the chickenwing was necessary now that we know Gief’s changes. Gief’s punch lariat is now totally invincible and has a full-body hitbox on startup, meaning presumably his lariat can now beat the chicken wing trap all by itself.
