Before I vote… can someone explain why the cut off date for the voting “age” is April? I’m not trying to patronize or insult anyone, I’d just honestly like to know why people who signed up after April 2011 don’t get to voice their opinion on this subject.

Thanos is simple… The game needs more villains. Not a single new villain was introduced on the Marvel side for UMvC3, and that kind of irked me. That, and with the “universal” feeling that Galactus gives the game, he felt like a good choice.
Loki… well that’s just because I like Thor. Thor’s my favorite character, and he needs a villain!
For Venom, it was more that I wanted someone opposite Spider-Man. And I loved stomping people with him in MvC1.
Captain Commando is because the shades are great. He’s the only one that can confront Wesker on even ground.
Edward Falcon… I want to see another Power Stone game some time.
X’s slot was gonna go to Jacques Blanc from Onimusha, but I figured getting Jean Reno’s permission might be beyond Capcom’s ability. He might be a place holder, but I’ve been playing X’s games since I was a kid.
I say since Niitsuma pushed for 58 chars the limit be raised from 6 to 8.
