My High Tier character can get scrubbed out easily. Don’t feel too bad.
I really think the biggest problem is that there are no great players who play Gouken that capcom would listen to. Know what I mean? They have their development team that obviously thinks he is peachy keen or their method of balancing makes it seem so, and then they have no one that plays him to add feedback (and I don’t think this is just a Gouken problem, but instead, it extends to a good amount of characters I would bet).
I think pretty much every Gouken would love to lose backthrow to Ultra if it meant getting more solid in other areas. If Capcom really does have some formula for balance (like a points system) I can see this accounting for a pretty big chunk of it.
If you truly believe charachters play style shouldn’t be dramatically altered how can you not call for the return of TKCS!
I understand your other Cammy tweak suggestions but this needs to happen LOL! I wouldn’t be posting about it constantly if they hadn’t brought it back for SFxT… I think we’ve got a shot at it returning…

that happens with dhalsim as well, U1 above their head on wakeup and charge lv3 focus, if you hit them with the focus while they are still in blockstun from U1, they block it. trick is to leave a tiny gap in there. but yea i think it was intentional that way. thats been in since vanilla.

I wonder how much of this rebalancing will just be based on their own internal complaints about the game before it was even released. They intentionally released something that in their own view lacked balance; will AE 2012 just be the corrected version of that? I am questioning how much of the actual changes will be a result of community feedback considering the timing of it all.
The problem isn’t that it started out as a glitch, some of the best discoveries are made by mistake. I just stated it originaly was a glitch, I was simply infering that it wasn’t an intentional feature, it’s the fact that it’s not logical or intuitive.
But neither was cancelling a kick into a fireball. A friend of mine recently made a post about how video games usually show tips during loading screens and he was wondering how effective that would be to help out new players.
Know what I mean? use the loading screen to introduce them to new concepts such as buffering or crouch teching etc.
Been wanting to say something about this for a while now but I would seriously suggest you get used to not having it and learn to use her buffed normals and hit confirm. I have played some good Cammy users before and after TKCS and the only difference has been that I actually have a small prayer on wakeup now really small because they are actually good. She is fine, the only thing for her that should be reverted is the HK arrow change.
tldr: No TKCS crutch for you and step your game up
