What are you willing to give up for 1k health as Yang?

He’s fine @ 900; he’s fairly balanced @ 900.

I know its been said but i just want my cr fwd back. I don’t need escape tatsu that shit’s stupid, although it was the only reliable way to get in on sim.

They need to completely switch the tier placings:

Like Dan, Hawk and Hakan for S tier and Yun, Yang, Fei and Akuma for deep shit tier.

I like how people call Yang balanced when he is top tier. It means he might just escape unscathed and DOMINATE at 2012

I propose every special move in the game become -50 on block. If you’re not sure it’ll work, then fuck you!

He is closer to balanced than Yun or Fei but if left untouched with Yun/Fei getting nerfed all of the players would migrate to him and new tech would be found quickly showing how dominate he can be.

and as for yang being balanced, i honestly feel he is balanced despite his position at the top. all he really needs is what? palm meter gain reduction and maybe slight nerf to hitbox? like what do ya’ll honestly want to do to yang? take away his command grab and make dive kick -5 or some shit? he’s perfectly fair.

just buff up the rest of the cast ( some mid tier and all of mid low/low tier leave A rank and some b tier like sak alone ) and slightly, and i do mean slightly nerf top 3 and i promise you this game would be much better. yang only really good because because most of the cast in this game just bad. and unlike yun, yang actually does have some bad match ups despite his position in tiers.

I would only change a couple things really

Cody(yes, Cody):
-Less push-back on j.HP
-Make his sweep a viable option

Yun:

  • 0 or -1 on EX Lunge
  • Nerf meter gain
  • *Slight *Damage nerf
  • Less priority on cr.MP

Yang:

  • nothing comes to mind
    just wanted to bring up Yang to say that he’s fine how he is. He has GREAT potential, you just need a lot of execution practice or practice in general with him. Unlike Yun who is good straight out-of-the-box.

Fei:

  • Chicken Wing is a bit too safe on block
  • U1 Damage nerf
  • overall damage nerf

Dudley:
-make SOMETHING unsafe on block other than upper-cut

Guile:

  • Make U2 not PITIFUL damage

Ibuki:

  • TCs don’t whiff on crouching opponents, one way I can think of is MP in LP>MP>HP TC should force stand ON HIT

yun cr.mp doesn’t need a nerf. cr.mp isn’t even his best normal, it’s st.mp that is his best tool in regards to footsies. and even then, it’s fine imo. and you can’t have nerfing meter gain singled out only to yun. yang would need it to since their meter gain with palm is the same. i don’t agree with damage nerf to yun either. this game already have poor damage for most of the cast. let yun keep his ok damage. the only tweaks he need are for command grabs to be exactly like yang and make ex lunge - one on block.

His ok damage? I guess killing Seth in one combo only counts as “ok” damage

Seths “best” damage combo is actually really crap in comparrison to most of the rest of the cast. (Even sim can do a Seth one KO kill with Seths old health)

wasnt that that impractical corner combo?i think chun has shit in the high 700’s too. so does gen. wouldnt exactly call them high damage

his real world damage is middle of the pack. he isnt cody, dudley or fei, taking 350+ in practical situations

no, im only aware of balrog and gouken that can do that aswell.

That is the beauty of him, he might not have that but everytime he does a combo into a knockdown which keeps creating oppertunities for mix-ups, god forbid if you are near a corner…

alt costumes aren’t “worth doing” but yet we see them being made constantly

Honestly, I DO think yun’s mp needs a hitbox nerf. I find it pretty stupid that he can link it into his shoulder attack but do to pushback and blockstun a lot of character have difficulty to punish it despise it being punishable according to frames data. BUT he can still throw in another mp since he’s in range to do so. So he’s kinda safe on block and still in range to throw another mp

imo Yun’s combo damages are fine. My only concern is when it is combined with super + ultra 1. Not only this removes a good chunk of your health (if you think about it he sacrificed BOTH super AND ultra for this) but the combo easily pushes you in a corner and after taking all this damage, you have to guess if his next dive kick will be a cross up or not / will he whiff it on purpose to grab you or maybe he will only need to palm chip you if you dont have enough health left
