Safe jumps In SFxT? Just roll, dude. Safe jumps don’t really exist in this game, especially with characters with jumps that take ages. In order to time a safe jump, you’d need to jump early enough that the opponent could still decide to roll.

Sakura is godlike… well, her Air Tatsu is godlike, she isn’t that great. Needs a stored counter hit move and a better cr. fierce, but yeah. She’s pretty decent. Definitely not bottom tier like some of these guys have been placing her.

Naw, breh. You just gotta look out for the X-up tatsus more. Sakura is just pressure and meter building for my team until we get into the corner. Once there, she does hella damage.

But, yo has anyone ever played against Zer0 T0lerance or something like that? That nigga is SOOOOO MAD AT ME! I was in his lobby earlier and beat him and his friend like 9 times in a row. He has his mic on and is talking shit. “Yo, I’ma pick my main team, you’re fucking trash kid, nice mash out, etc…” He beats me once, I proceed to bop him two more times, leave, go to work, get this girl’s number (lol, she’s my trainer), come back, hop on TEFightstands lobby, playing around, he joins, bop him like 5 more times, leave play AE with my roommate.

I play rufus dudleu…i use to play balrog in vanilla SF4 tho. but yeah i hate chun, but i spend some time in training mode looking at OS pokes/launch or buffer mgbs which is modest dmg at best. Currently learning Hwo tho, he seems fun and great with Dudley…just need to get that Hwo matchup knowledge and need to feel more natural in combos and pokes with him and i’ll be set.

I agree, mid tier. She has pretty okay damage in most situations, and her Shoouken is fantastic for tag canceling. Her anti-air is solid, too. Her main problem is that she has absolutely nothing good to do to keep pressure at point-blank range. She’s clearly a pressure character, but can’t do very much to stay at the range she needs to be in. Her LK tatsu should have been 0 on block, rather than -4 or -5 or whatever it is now. If you’re happy trying to stay in with her, go for it! She’s hella fun.

I just use CADCs to get in, and press a bunch a buttons and hit confirm from there. I think the air tatsu lets her bully people though, which is my favorite thing to do against players who are unaware of how good that thing is. I almost never use her lk tatsu unless it’s a guaranteed combo. My cousin still uses it, so I just dp him every time and I’m like, bro, that shit is -4. There is no way to safely run tatsu pressure on a shoto

Law’s Fury Fist Rush should’ve been -7 on block. Is that fair enough? They should at least make it punishable to sweeps, which never lead to a combo anyway.

If you cant punish with a hit (Sagats 3 frame crouch jab always catches them for me so I never really have a problem with punishing it), walk up and throw them (you only have to walk like 2 pixels so unless they have the bestest reactions in the world they will fall for it, especially online)

If they tend to backdash instead of block after a blocked FFR, use a chase down move, pretty much every character I know of has one (tatsu, machinegun blow, ogres hunting hawk, hwoarangs hunting hawk, kumas hunting spear, etc.)

Ryu and Juri’s crouching jab/short, can’t reach it, but maybe I can try using the standing versions. I might fare better with those. Made a few tests and Ryu’s Shoryuken should be able to punish FFR regardless on what he’ll do next (3-frame reversals FTW) but at farthest range Law is able to block it. I remember doing that during CPU battles; I wonder what made me forget to use that online. :confused:

I’m still looking for a suitable one for Juri, although the best bet is the 2-pixel throw that you have mentioned which is 7 frames so the only thing Law could do to prevent it is by backdashing or teching.

If they space it just right the SRK will whiff allowing them a full punish combo though (except for kens hp srk), I personally wouldnt use it
