excellent, thanks Mr_Punkus, The smaller manga should go on there even more easily then, just needed a reasonable expectation on what I could get on the bigger sticks

go for both

btw has anyone heard anything yet about making your PSP unmoddable through many less-than-perfect attempts at Pandora-ing it? I still don’t have a CFW…

Hmm, I remember hearing something about 3.71 not working with Pops, although it might have been related to the Slim…

One question, how is 3.71 M33-4 compared to 3.52 M33-4? I’ve stuck with the latter simply because it’s incredibly stable, I never bothered with 3.71. Is it worth upgrading on a fattie?

Pops works like a charm on my Slim :D. About 3.71, I believe that it has the UMD caching and some other stuff, besides the multi-disc PSX loading, that can be done only on 3.71 M33, but at least personally, I have a friend w/ 3.71 M33 in a Classic PSP and there has been no problems at all. We should keep a changelist of CFWs to answer these questions more clearly.

Gonna have a few hours to kill flying, so what are some good games for me to get right now? I’m already equipped with Disgaea and FFT, but I’m wondering if there’s anything else for me to get. Genre not a big issue.

…get DJ Max Portable/2. If you have that…

…get Monster Hunter Freedom. If you have that and finished and liked it, get Monster Hunter Freedom 2 If you have that…

Yo i need help psp fam. I finally found a damn media manager, which had been sold out around me forever.

Anyway, i installed the ish on my pc, but it never loads up. Windows says it has to close the program.

I uninstalled it and then re-installed it. Restarted my pc still nothing. Its prolly vista, vista doesn’t like me adding shit to the pc…lol.

Any suggestions?

Edit*

I have a slim psp if that matters.

Search for PSP Video 9, it’s a decent free video converter for the PSP…

djmax 2 is too much fun. wonder if/when they’re gonna make a 3rd…

Also, look for the PSPlayer app for Home Brew. If you have an MP4 but don’t have the other little file to run it on your PSP’s video player, you can use that. It’s useful incase you convert a video from Youtube to MP4 but don’t want to convert it again for the PSP, for example. You can’t rewind of fast forward, but it plays and you can change the screen size so it’s cool.

It also plays other fies but it’s limited to only in a smaller resolution. MP4 is perfect for this video player though…

Yeah, just to elaborate on that. The more you compress a file, the more the quality is reduced. So if you already have an MP4 file, it’s good to use that application because it saves you lowering the quality once more to get that other file the PSP requires. Unless you desperately want rew/ffwd of course…

As you all know, the PSP can have PS1 games streamed to it through PS3 Remote Play through the new 3.80 firmware.

Also, Internet Radio has been enabled. Also, the JPN PSPs get a DVR function.

Also, PSP Media Manager for free!

Remote Play for PS1… it should only be a matter of time before you can do the same thing for PS2 games…

Rumor: Crisis Core to be released in this side of the sea in March 25.

About the PS1 Remote Play: Isn’t just better to have the game in your Memory Stick?

Yeah… it would be different if you could backup your PS1 games to the PS3’s HDD, and have access to your whole library… but you’re just Remote Playing one disc… lame, especially with multidisc titles…

You’d have to buy PS1 games from the PSN Store to select multiple titles remotely…

Do you own a PS3, Taito?

Yeah I do…

Any comments about the interaction between PSP and PS3? Is it something that really counts?

I think the whole ā€˜Digital Living Network Alliance’ tech the PS3 uses is really cutting-edge… the way my living room is set up (PS3 streaming video and audio from the Internet or my hard drives, and outputting to my TV or PSP)… I think it’s like a rough prototype of how everyone’s entertainment centers will look like in the near future.

Turning your PC and PS3 into a media server so your PSP can access your media library anywhere on the planet is really cool. The audio quality is great… video is okay but it’s not crystal clear or anything. And none of this matters if you don’t have wireless access wherever you’re going. Plus you can turn your PC into a media server that your PSP can access without needing a PS3.

To me, PS3-PSP connectivity isn’t something that matters (or is really implemented well), but it’s convenient if you already own both systems.

what kind of game is it?
