iām stuck on 3.10 OE-Aā custom firmware. how do i add a recovery menu to it so i can upgrade to 3.4 oe? anyone else having this problem?
you cannot go straight from 3.10OE to 3.4OE??
I kno some older versions of the OE packs over at psp-hacks contain the recovery file.
what I do not kno is if the recovery file is universal among all OEās or not.
I do kno that the reason why they did indeed stop packing them was becoz ppl were able to use their old ones, so maybe they will still work.
you can upgrade straight to 3.40oe. just stick the files into GAME150 and follow the readme. you dont really need recovery to upgrade. hold R while turning on your psp and you should be in recovery mode. PM if you still need help.
they do. but if youāre on 2.71 SE then you need the recovery for that fw otherwise all OE use the same recovery program.

thatās freaking nice being able to read text and pdf files. i have the full solution manual to one of my physics book in .pdf and i donāt have to go to the computer to check my answers anymore. i can just scroll through the psp instead since i donāt have a laptop. :lovin:
Any reason why? Pretty much any homebrew file you need requires compressed folder software to open it.
I just canāt use winrar (work computer)
even then, something goes wrong when I try to download it. it just ends up being like a 2kb file (should be around 18mb) and is corrupted etc. etc.

my genesis emulator still doesnāt work anymore (it used to)
I dlāed PSP revolution 0.3 which is supposed to be for 1.0 or 1.50
it doesnāt work.
do I still need eboot loaders? and that other stuff? I forgot =[

^ Try firmware 3.03OE-C, that was the last firmware where everything was confirmed working 100%, ALMOST everything works on 3.40OE, but if you any issues then itās worth a try.
Games-wise, Iāve been playing the hell out of Call Of Duty: Roads to Victory. Pretty good game, nice atmosphere, easy to pick up and learn. If you want a FPS on psp, you canāt go wrong.
ok Figured it out. I needed a GAME150 folderā¦though was not aware. a lot of things Iāve been finding for PSP really need some readme filesā¦
Sighā¦ and I just recently bought my PSP.
I will only feel better if these new PSP slims have an uncrackable firmware. But I highly doubt thatā¦
they will be cracked but not for a while. so enjoy your homebrew nowā¦
