I just finished the Hanzo story in Burst yesterday. If Burst, is gonna take up too much time, you can also just watch the anime which more or less gives you the story, just not from teh Hebijo girls side

Lol its alright once they start beefing with Hebijo. As a game adaption its aight. since SK Burst story isn’t plot heavy. It was aight to me. But the first few eps were mega silly. But I still think its best to experience it through Burst first, even though I saw the anime first

Yeah, the story’s plot holes are put on display big time in the anime… I liked it, just to get my Hikage fix while I waited for the release. It’s definitely not the best thing to come out of the franchise, but I am looking forward to the Hebijo anime arc, more Hikage please.

My problem is the anime was only good for the fanservice & did nothing raelly to get across the more serious moments of the story. Yeah SK is a super silly faservice romp but the characters & their growth is pretty touching & why I like it so much. I’m hoping more chapters of the Snake Girl manga get translated & we get something else like the Ikaruga/Katsuragi prequel manga.

Don’t knock it before you try it. It’s a solid brawler with a decent story. That’s something you don’t see every day. The fan service is the back drop, not the main event. Not to mention, some of the girls’ stories are pretty metal (Katsuragi, Daidouji, and Hikage come to mind). Can’t wait for the Daidouji DLC!

The fanservice is mainly during transformations and when you get damages. It doesn’t have some harem vibe and it doesn’t have perverted ness minus Katsus antics. But the characters are interesting enough and for a beat em up game the stort is decent. Its actually one of my fave franchises.

But I understand the whole “busty ninja girls” pitch can throw alot of people off. My main gripe is the character Mirai. I hate her design and character. But characters like Hikage, Katsu, and Yagyu are pretty cool.

I have the 2 manga released here and the next doesn’t drop until next Feb wtf.

Also anyone getting Tales of Hearts R. From the tales series I’ve beaten symphonia, played phantasia(I lost it) and have Xillia which I fucking hate and that game left a sour taste in my mouth for the series.

It’s basically a rhythm game but the girls are cooking instead of dancing/performing. Will be copping along with P. Diva f2nd for my rhythm game fix.
