Did they hack it yet?

Any idea when Sony will turn on the ability for the vita to play PSOne classics? The day they do it, I’ll start playing again.

Has anyone tried to see if the digital version of kof Orochi is compatible with vita? It very well could be, and I really want it, but i don’t exactly have money to toss at what would be a single-player game (I have a psp 3000 and a vita, and take both to work)…then again, Sony didn’t know kof 96 would work on vita (but 96’s controls SUCK compared to 97 and 98), and the samurai shodown collection works on vita, so it’s looking like a solid 50/50…someone mentioned input lag, but I’m wondering how bad it really is. People always tell me if I play on non-tube tvs I’m playing with input lag, but I’m not a frame-data geek (ever since arcade sf2 came out I played fighters based on timing and instinct, not frames), so I don’t notice.

I think kof 95 and 96 do. As for the others: ad-hoc, or netplay via ps3’s Adhoc Party application.

Cuz there is no stand-alone kof 98 (at least, not in america) for psp/ps3. SNK just released 94-96…and they show no signs of continuing. I’m pretty sure the KOF Orochi Collection is also ad-hoc, since that’s the standard for fighters on psp. Thank god the Vita doesn’t fuck around with that limited crap. I’d go crazy if I couldn’t beat down people online on the road in marvel.

Actually, I think almost ALL vita games (Pleasant surprise for a portable) have online mp. PSP…not so much.

…why do vitas look so tiny in other people’s hands? And I wouldn’t mind a re-release of Lost Planet 2 for vita. I had some fun with that shit. 1 was boring for me. I want more of this console experience on a handheld…and with these phone ports of kof xiii, SNK has no excuse NOT to port it to vita. But you know snk these days: they seem to not like money.

Jesus, just did the conversion, the wifi Miku Vita will run about $430. Got a carbon fiber skin on my rear touchpad, it’s not interfering at all. I’ll probably just bust out a vinyl Miku sticker and cut it to size back there.
