Been a while since i’ve done any PSP stuff. Anyone know what the best emulators are for the Neo Geo Pocket, Pc Engine, and the N64?

I recently been playing some Naruto game, tried out Modnation Racers on the PSP it sucks, better off sticking to the PS3.
But mainly been playing the Neogeo Pocket Capcom VS SNK off the emulator on it.**

Yeah thats the last of DA’s M33. The main reason for not upgrading to the newer firmwares, is none of the system emus(SNES, GBA, etc) work on them. On top of that its still kinda buggy in its own right when it comes to playing stuff they’re designed for.
And last but not least: they learned a long time ago how to patch the newer release stuff to where they will play just fine on M33.
So get the latest 5.00 M33-6 and stick with it. No reason to upgrade.
I recently put some music on my psp and it seems to only want to play the first 30 seconds or so. If I ff through the track the entire track is there but, if I want to listen it just skips to the next track without playing the entire thing. Has anyone else run into this problem? And if so, how did you fix it?
No such problems here. I just dumped all my MP3s into the “music” folder, and the PSP accessed and played them just fine.
any game gear emus for m-33 6? I kno there’s gba and gens ones.

DaedalusX64 is pretty good, but you have to turn the sound off in order for the few good (and important) games that do work on it to run smoothly.

Ok its been a while but now i’m finally looking into updating my PSP stuff. Does anyone know a good site that stays up to date with the latest Emus?
In my all my google searches i’ve come across too many places with older ver. stuff than i know is out. The first page information is also kinda out of date on some things.
I’ve been thinking that GD should have the PSP games/official firmware thread, and PSP hardware/firmware mod discussion should go to the Tech Talk board. What do you guys think?
So does PSNLover and Prometheus play 6.20 games? On both GEN and M33 CFW? I haven’t bought a PSP title since last December, but I want to update in time for that port of Pac Man CE.
Anyone know how to manipulate the order in which apps appear on memory stick? It seems like they remain in the order with which they are added no matter what.
I ask because originally all my EMUs were at the very bottom of the memory stick browser list, and i have a lot of stuff. Knowing its at the bottom made it easy to just hold down and quick-skip through everything until i reached it.
Now that i’ve deleted the old ones and updated, my new stuff is at the top. In a way this is cool that it works like that, as i go through stints often where i play the PSP constantly, and then others when i don’t touch it for a month or two. So having my most recent stuff at the very top is nice for a quick revisit to where i left off.
I’d still really like to rearrange my EMUs at the bottom though. Seems like the only way i can do this, is by backing up my memory stick to comp, deleting everything on the stick, then reloading it all…BUT specifically loading the Emus FIRST. So it all shows up at the bottom. This kinda sucks though but ah well.

Yeah, I think the next PSP thread should be split, so actual game discussion doesn’t clash with mod/CFW talk. If anyone wants to make a new PSP games only thread, be my guest, but I think it’s a better idea to wait till there’s some news of a PSP update (something’s gotta happen between now and Tokyo Game Show in September… no way will Nintendo 3DS launch without competition)
They tried that thread before. It died within a week. You know… cause there’s barely any good games for the PSP.
Are you nuts? There are PLENTY of awesome games for the PSP, and thats not even mentioning the fantastic Emu stuff it can do.
Though i wouldn’t blame most gamers for preferring a full-fledged console on their big tv instead. Even for me, the PSP is one of my favorite game systems of all-time. Yet i’ll go through large stints where i won’t touch it, just because i’d rather sit back and play my PS2 or 360 on my 19" TV.
Lol I know every single game that’s came out for the PSP. Yes there are good games, but for the price of them and how many there are… It’s nothing compared to the DS library. Which is why having a PSP legit only games thread is sort of fruitless.
You know EVERY game thats come out for the PSP eh? LOL doubtful, as there are a crap ton of them by this point. And plenty of them are great, fun titles. Its almost like a portable PS2 in that it has a VAST library, with something for everyone. This is without emulation.
Now add in the fact that its the BEST emulation device available outside of using an actual PC, and the PSP tops all the other portables out there. Including the DS.
If the system is not your cup o’tea thats fine, but don’t bash it.
Man the masterboy is awesome, gg tiles suck hard but gb/gbc titles have an incredible library similar to the DS. I remember when I was little I could NEVER finish a gg title because of unsupported battery life, not having this issue on psp rocks. Me and a friend were discussion Saturn emu because it’s virtually the same bit as the PSOne.
