I’d hold off on 5.00 M33 right now for practical use (if you’re just testing it out, go for it, at your own risk) and keep 4.01 M33. POPS is not functional right now, and after 3.71, there’s been bugs and brick risks with the first release of M33 CFW.

But but some good games DEMAND dat 4.05 FW or higher >_<!

Have you gous seen the issues with scanlines in PSP Brite? It’s horrible -_-.

I’ve been thinking about this and I agree with what you’re saying. The core gameplay and level design in N+ is fine, addictive even. But there’s zero aesthetic value. It’s the same background and shitty music over and over again. I’ve also been playing Cave Story, and it has 1000x higher production values than N+. And Cave Story is FREE. It doesn’t feel right supporting games like this with money. Even though it’s pretty fun, it’s a $20+ Flash game.

The whole game, basically.

The game has been remade to imitate the Star Ocean 2 battle system (so it’s perty much a brand new game other than the Story-Line being somewhat the same.).
Added Anime FMV scenes as well as new english voice acting.

It’s a great game, no doubt about that ;o

Also, I decided I’m going to return my 4gb Memory Stick Duo card I bought last week and buy this instead:

You can also buy 2 16gb Micro SD cards and have 32gb on your PSP.

Fuck yeah. Micro SD are cheaper than Memory Stick Duo. Also, it’s proven to work on PSP.

Got mine a few days ago, but my 8GBs are not here yet. All in all it works fine, now to wait until 16GBs drop in price so I can rock that.

Fuck yeah, got Star Ocean today. Going to play tonight. I have never played the OG SO, but I’ve spent easily 100+ hours on SO2. Anyone who has played the SNES one, does it offer as many sidequests and such as SO2? I remember spending hours just trying to beat that 50 level coliseum thing.

Played it last night, but not for too long. Fucking sweet. It’s like SO2 all over but different chars and the great graphics from SO2. Even the sound effects are hawt. The anime is really well made and the voice acting is not bad, although it gets annoying how certain characters talk while there is regular text. Looking forward to this bad boy.

Yea SO remake feels polished, except for a few nit picks. Overall I really like it.

It looks so much different looking than the snes version, even though I recognize everything. Definite improvement. I can already tell so2 re-release is going to be polished as well, which is awesome and worth it for me to rebuy in january.
