This is why I’m not gonna pay attention to sports writers and analysts this year.
David Lee is a nice player, but an allstar? No.
Why the fuck would someone pick Kobe Bryant as the top scorer in the league?
Why the fuck would Deron Williams ever be 1st Team All NBA over Chris Paul?
Tyler Hansbrough, 1st Team All Rookie?
And to top it off, Miami, a team that was 5th in the playoffs last year, suddenly will be an 8th seed?
Fuck these stupid fucking motherfuckers.
I can see David Lee becoming an all-star player. Obviously not starter, but reserve. Tyler Hansbrough as 1st team rookie is also a possibility. The rest are pretty off though.
boozer just had an offnight. he’ll average 20/10 for the season like he always does. i honestly dont think lopez will do more than 15/10/1.9 blocks. that being said i’m glad i have him now :lovin:
how does rasheed wallace get sixth man? i thought he was a starter…?
josh smith as new all-star? they need to gtfo with that nonsense lol. kevin durant is def gonna be a new all-star though.
He’s not starting in Boston.

You’re going to start Rasheed over Kevin? Kevin Durant is going to be the new BEAST.

Lol I knew Doc wasn’t going to start sheed, I called it last thread. Sheed is fine coming in off the bench.

All Sheed really wants to do is run in the game take about 4-8 three pointers and he’s kool.

Sheed only knows how to run up and shoot 3’s.
EDIT: Damn I got beaten to it.
no no no i just thought sheed was a starter in boston. didn’t know he was coming off the bench
I drafted Chris “Birdman” Anderson for blocks. If he doesn’t give me said blocks what good is he on my team?
It’s only 1 game.
It’s only 1 game.
It’s only 1 game.
Its’ only 1 game.
It’s only 1 game.

I can’t bench Baron Davis over those guys. If you believed enough in Baron to draft him you have to stay the course. See him through the good times and bad. He’s the type of player that can have a 30 points, 6-3pointer, 16 assists and 5 steals game. If that happens while he’s on the bench you’re gonna be sick about it.
12 asts, 5 steals, 2 blks, 2 treys. Shooting’s still off. Stay the course.

Just curious, is league pass HD? Is that $160 for the whole season or per month?
The Magic… one of the few things I miss when I lived in Orlando…
I can’t hide a certain grin if I look at Cleveland losing 2 already …
Mavs should jump straight back to the gym and train those 3pters …, already at times a weakness last season.:nunchuck:

Taken from the RealGM boards.
So anyways, I was in section 323 and was seated closely behind a fellow that flew down from Cleveland to watch the raptors game and hang out with some buddies. He must have came in a bit buzzed, but was in good enough shape to root on lebron and his cavaliers while rocking his james jersey. Running parallel to the raptors opening up a big first half lead, was his intoxication level and his patience. Although, he was surely still in good enough shape to know exactly what he was doing and to enjoy the game. About every THIRTY SECONDS he would hell “COME ON” or "WHERE YOU FROM? IM FROM OHIO! LEBRON WHERE U FROM?!
Second half rolls along and he is very into the game as the Cavs pull back into it. Then…the unthinkable happened. The raptors began to pull away again O_O; this time for good. We told him that he needed some raptor gear and we would let him join the bandwagon. Annoyed by a combination of Lebron’s poor play (kinda funny a triple double is horrendous for LJ’s standards), his missed free-throws and the cavs just stinking it up, we tempted him to take off his jersey. He did. At this point literally the ENTIRE section was chanting, “THROW IT! THROW IT!” as we weren’t even paying attention to the game. What did he do? He chucked that bad boy off the 300 section into the lower bowl while saying, “my ex GF bought that for me!” Thats not all…
About 10 minutes later we started a chant saying, “THROW YOUR HAT! THROW YOUR HAT!” As you can assume this was because he was wearing non other than a Yankees cap. He was hesitant at first, but due to the chant growing Louder and L O U D E R (at this point it was probably almost 2 full sections), he tossed it! It was honestly, one of the greatest sporting moments I’ve ever witnesses. Of course, about 10 minutes after tossing his hat he was like “THATS MY LUCKY HAT! WHERE IS IT!?”…
Props to the ex-LOLCAVS fan for converting to Colangelism.

I agree. That’s fucked up. Should’ve had them finishing 7th.
As promised earlier, here are a handful of excerpts from David Stern's favorite book, Blowing the Whistle, by Tim Donaghy.
Interesting read, even if nothing on there is surprising.
imo.
