Game 3 was the same way.
Thunder shot 36%. The only reason it was so close is cause they had 20 more ft’s than the Lakers.

Hmm BJ reminds me more of young AI lately then I thought, just not as good … Hope the Bucks win that next one!
Grats to Utah!!!
Does he at least want to play? Because I’m pretty sure Brian Scalabrine doesn’t. I think he relishes his “injuries” or whatever the hell keeps him comfortably dressed in street clothes on the bench for 3/4 of the season. That guy is a disgrace.
He knows he’s not getting anything close to what he’s making now, though I’m sure he would like to have another opportunity to impress somewhere. Really doesn’t have nothing but a J that hits only in practice.
What a disappointing season for the Nuggets. I’m hoping Karl recovers and is able to return to the bench full-time next season. His absence is the main reason Denver lost. The Nuggets were only down 2 points midway through the 4th quarter before Kenyon Martin picked up that stupid tech for pushing Deron Williams. It all went downhill for them from there. At least Adrian Dantley has some playoff coaching experience under his belt.
p.s. It’s easy to make fun of Brian Scalabrine’s deficiencies as a player, but the dude can actually play when given minutes.

Morrison would probably benefit more from a run-and-gun offense. I think he would do pretty well playing for the Warriors in a 6th Man role.
I agree he just doesn’t get the minutes because of Phil’s rotation of the Laker’s bench.
I think the Lakers have a pretty clear path to the finals now, imo OKC was their only real threat because of their youth and defense. Without Utah having AK 47 they just will not be able to do anything and I still do not believe in SA or PHX.
Nuggets need to get rid of J.R
Not unless they have a suitable replacement. JR Smith still brings instant offense off the bench and can carry a team during stretches.
Yea, I just want a suitable and more mature replacement for J.R.
Jamal Crawford is a rare commodity.
there are games this season that they couldn’t have won without j.r. smith. if you are a nuggets fan, you’ll be mad at him alot of times, but you have to realize that he’s probable any night of saving or breaking your game, whether you like it or not.
i think you just have to accept it, because the team overall is better with him than without. i think the real problem this series was no karl, forreal. that team took a nosedive when he left, and that team could’ve used some serious coaching down the stretch against sloan. god didn’t want it to happen this year,
Denver could definitely use some more players that don’t easily lose their composure in close games. Even though he can be a headcase, I’d still keep JR because he’s a key reserve, but I would definitely get rid of K-Mart. Someone like Udonis Haslem or even Ben Wallace would be a great replacement.
Morrison suffers from not ever having a coach that would give him a good chance. I believe he could have played a support role ala JJ Reddick
bring back the hair-do imo
I hope he’s not the type of players like this piece of shit , that only get like one of these games a lifetime. Certainly looking like it though…
I don’t see Utah as a threat to the Lakers even playing with a full roster. Yes they beat Denver undermanned and yes the point guard matchup would be a nightmare but I just don’t see it happening.
But now the playoffs are going to be boring except for Boston and Cleveland. The only real matchup to watch is who will make it out of the East to face the Lakers. I like Orlando but Cleveland has a slight advantage as far as beating Los Angeles.

utah and LAL will be pretty boring. utah is really no match for LAL. it’s going to be the same as last year in the first round.
