Ron Artest throws up at least 5 - 8 garbage shots a game. Not just bad shots, but one-legged-fade-away three pointer types of bad shots. Just hope that he misses those ones, because if he somehow makes one the counter resets and he throws up some more garbage.

Yeah, Artest has a horrible shot mentality but on the other hand, his defense is still pretty desirable. And with Kobe, Bynum and Gasol to make up for it, he shouldn’t lose the Lakers games unless someone else isn’t pulling their weight or is hurt.
True. Artest was taking some remedial shots but still he was playing some solid d, and once Pau gets back…well like I said before its gonna be a good season.

I just looked at his career shooting average thus far and he’s at 42%. I guess he was always like this.
He’s not gonna take a lot of shots anyway. Kobe takes some horrible shots too so we’re used to that.

Yeah, but like I said, Artest won’t be taking a lot of shots anyway. I’ll gladly accept a couple of those horrible shots per game as long as he guards the opponent’s best player. With him around, Kobe doesn’t need to do that anymore.

His value was always being able to completely lock down anyone on the defensive end and throw himself all over the court like a bull, at the cost of making questionable shots on offense. Now he can’t really do the same on the defensive end, but the offensive cost remains the same. He is Ron Artest, he will never change. That is why he is one of my top favourite players ever.

Baron Davis is awful. Holy crap. Westbrook is essentially the same player except: younger, not injured, and does not have the same terrible shot selection. Newsflash B-Diddy: you suck at three-pointers, stop shooting them.

Baron Davis needs to get rid of the beard. That extra weight is holding him down when he shoots. He could jump 10 feet without the facial hair.
