Are the Rockets the most talent devoid team in the league with Yao and T-Mac out? This starting lineup is just bad. The Wizards on the other hand, are looking very good. The TWolves look like total fools now trading away a pretty good guard and a known scorer for some European guy who won’t even be coming to the US for a few years.
Nah, there is talent here, it is just that against a team full of tall forwards and centers, it is hard to get our inside game going. I mean between Alridge, Oden, Pryzbilla and Outlaw, we are dwarfs besides our rookies and Scola.
Also, the Blazers are damn good with Andre Miller now.
And we all saw what happened AFTER T-Mac’s exit last year; I think the Rockets may get better every time they lose a major player!
And I’m EXTRA excited to see the Wizards beat one of the many wannabe’s in the West this year, the Mavs. Dallas is one of my least favorite teams, and I smile inside when I see Dirk drop 30+ in a loss to a team that was hopeless last season. I see this trend being the theme for the Mavs this year, as well as the Wizards’ performance being indicative of their imminent improvement this year (Arenas is gunning again. and HITTING!)…

Also Paul Allen as owner > Everyone. Why? Because over last decade this man has lost over 10 billion dollars. Of course most of those are bad investments, but a small portion is because he keeps throwing money at his team in hopes they get better. Shit is finally paying off in Portland.
