Reminds me of how people hyped up the rivalry between Sacramento and LA earlier this decade. I’m sure it was much more significant for basketball fans living in California, as it was an intrastate rivalry, and it did make for some entertaining games, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the likes of Lakers-Celtics or Bulls-Knicks.
