if u draft D12 in the 1st round and try to still win FT%, the problem then becomes, that you wont win every single week, you’re so focused on FT% from that point on that you forget about how much you are lacking in the other cats.

It’s not about winning FT% though.
It’s about making your team so that FT% isn’t a weakness.
I won FT% several times last year, and didn’t have a good FT team. I had guys like JR who shot 60% during one month. You never know who will have a good week or bad week in free throws.

Anyone can win free throws on any given week.
It isn’t necessary to have a team of 80-90% shooters.
i know a number of ppl who hold FT% in high regard, i think two years ago i was reading an ESPN fantasy analyst on what his mode of attack was on draft night and he was all about %s, didnt care about points or TOs at all.
