I wanted to see that Suns/Mavs game last night too but it was playing on a Dallas-area channel that I don’t get. All of the Rockets-Mavs games are also shown on that channel only. :annoy:
As of right now I can support Grizzlies as 8th seed or maybe 9th in the West. I was behind on the standings so when I checked ESPN’s Power Rankings on Monday I was surprised to see that 16 teams right now have losing records.
The thing I’ve always enjoyed about the Pacers is their logo. I always thought it was sharp looking.
Let go knicks! (i know i know) but whatever, we won 3 in a row. for knicks fan that’s big news. we play New Orleans Friday, i’m calling for another win
They maintain Seattle’s Best just to give people the illusion that there is an option to choose between. Basically in Seattle you are either going to one of the million Starbucks or an independent coffee shop.
Milwaukee…Jennings will drop 30 tonight if Calderon comes back with a wonky hip. I think if anything it might be best to keep Jack out there for another game…even though he’s been pretty bad defensively this year so far as well.
Who would have thought the Rookie of the Year race would be between Brandon Jennings and Tyreke Evans? Evans will have the statistical edge (20/5/5 and 1.4 steals on 46% shooting? These are Vince Carter numbers!) but the Bucks are winning with Jennings…
Also, what is up with Reggie Evans? Did he die? I didn’t think foot sprains were that serious.
With Fernandez out 6 weeks after having surgery, and Batum and Outlaw still out for the near future, does that mean Portland only has 1 player capable of playing Small Forward?
Blazers aren’t doing horrible because of the SF situation it is because everyone on the team that should be playing well is playing horrible. Oden was our best player the whole year, that is saying a lot.
Small Forward is one of those positions that it’s not a huge deal to be without. It’s not like playing without a center or with no guards.
Still, it’s gotta be worrisome down the road that the roster is like 5 deep at the 1/2 guards and at the power forward, but only 1 deep at Center and SF.
That a shit load of Starbucks, I think they are missing a few too.

The Knicks make no sense what so ever to me, but dammit I hate Duhon streakyness.
What? The Bucks are 9-11. The Kings are 9-11. You said yourself that Tyreke has the statistical edge. Their teams have the same exact record. HELLLO!!!
Portland been sucking major ass lately, and I’m with Lothar. Oden was basically there best guy as of late. Roy and Aldridge had a couple nice games, through the first 15 or so games then after that I don’t know what happened.
But it’s all relative - the Bucks are 6th in the conference and the Kings are 11th…which doesn’t mean anything really, but right now Brandon Jennings can say that he’s putting up numbers on a playoff team whereas Tyreke Evans can’t.
Or maybe you could make an argument that Evans is putting up numbers in a much tougher conference…either way, it doesn’t mean much, you’re right.
To be honest I had no idea the Bucks were on a 4 game losing streak…I thought they were doing better.
And Jennings isn’t even that far behind statistically - 21/6/4 vs. Tyreke’s 20/5/5, although with a more pedestrian FG% of .412 (versus 46% for Evans). It could really come down to team record at the end of the season if the stats hold up then…and in that case it would likely go to Jennings who plays in a much weaker conference.
I hope the Sixers lose the rest of their games this year.
Unlike when I wanted Durant/Oden (lol) the team is actually shitty forreal this time. It doesn’t have Mo Cheeks to motivate the team into becoming a bizzarro version of the suns that can’t shoot for shit.
I also hope they put the USA piping back on their unis so they have the best in the league, Green and Dalembert get traded for expiring contracts/picks, and they find someone to dump Elton Brand on too.
I am still in the “lets blow this shitty team up” camp. We need to get a young nerd GM too.
