that was a bad loss for the spurs because the game was in reach. unfortunately michael finley’s 3 pointer didn’t count otherwise i think it would’ve been an OT game. boston defense was just too much for the spurs…very solid. very impressive.

philly is going to make the playoffs. i think they’ll be a 7th seed at best though. all the other teams (milwaukee, washington, charlotte) have powered up. they’re getting iverson back which is a start, but we’ll have to see what they’re capable of if/when they get another consistent scorer. iggy isn’t good enough yet imo.

When Matt Bonner first came into the league…I always thought Scalabrine was like a post-apocalyptic version of him, like if he was the Matt Bonner of a parallel universe and spent his entire life fighting Apocalypse or the Sentinels like in Days of Future Past…and then one day was sent back in time into our reality like Cable or John Connor to prevent the end of the world.

Nope. My prediction is that it’s going to be down to the wire where Nets will be up by 2 or 3 in the final minute and the Raps will run the everything-is-up-to-Bosh play. Bosh goes for his usual jab step drive to get a foul but the refs don’t call it. Nets win by ensuing free throws. Game ends with people booing massively with a couple random dudes shouting “FREE PIZZA!!!” from the Sprite Zone.
