I honestly thought it was a commercial for NBA Live, at first.
But it just goes to show what 2K has become.
They outsell NBA Live now, so they can afford to do weird marketing like that.
And yeah, same shit as last year… no one can play online because their servers are jammed. They didn’t learn their lesson. Not to mention I found like, 3-4 glitches already.
My friend bought Live over 2K yesterday. He said he watched a video of 2K10 where this guy shot over 90% FG on either All-Star or higher. Now I’m not sure which to buy or if I should buy one at all.
I just got live10 and it feels more realistic now. I don’t like the new button scheme for live this year, but i’ll adjust with time. 2k is a peice of shit! Get at me if you are on ps3 for live10. HAWKS BITCHES!

2K is still bringing the real gameplay. They took out a lot of the effective perimeter breakdown moves and the rating system is a lot more specific this year. There are more plays available from quick call and overall a better a game.
Live is better than before, but their Isomotion is so good and will lead to one player breakdowns. I also don’t like the omission of a post up button.

Yea they could have kept the post up button. I think the good post players auto post, but that’s wack imo. Tht demo of 2k10 on ps3 was hot garbage. I will say live10 is better than last years fast break fest. My hawks SWARM on defensive side of the ball!!!:wgrin: Geo said he already found some GLITCHES in 2k10. :sad:

If there was some things I had to compare about the two games is that 2K still has better gameplay and more reasonable ways of scoring and playing defense. 2K is really focused on play-calling this year (and ball movement, a little less one man shows, it’s still there, but not as apparent) and your AI tends to give a lot better help defense this time around on dribble penetration. (This could be a seen as a good thing or bad thing, cause it’s easy to find the open man)
Live has some good presentation values (and Marv Albert) but I always felt that dunking felt weak in Live (and the overall feel for the intensity of the game) Don’t get me wrong, it’s the first Live I’ve liked since 2004 and they made a good choice making shooting one button. I never got why dunking and layup were TWO different buttons.

the hornets starting 5 played VERY weak against my hawks tonight. We was up by 21 before mike woodson took all of the starters in the end of the 3rd qtr. The hornets sub’s are playing better than our subs at the moment. The hornets will not make the playoff’s this year if they play like this against the hawks.
