They call you Lebron because you lose at everything?
I AM RDY TO DRAFT.
YEAAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!
Seattle has a few FOBs that play basketball but it was mostly just unathletic people from Hawaii. The Taiwanese FOBs were pretty decent in basketball but the other FOBs (Thai, Filipino) were garbage. There were some really good people from Hawaii but most of them were scrubs.
imo.

I was playing 4v4 yesterday with these white and brown dudes for awhile until this skinny Asian midget came in and took everyone to school. Kid was amazing, you can tell the white guys were thinking “WTF did we just get owned by an Asian??? No way I’m gonna eat him up this time” so they started to play real physical. In the end I left the gym with a scar on my left leg, a bruise on my right elbow, an elbow to the face and a bad back. And no I wasn’t the midget.
TL,DR version: Asians do look alike.

Anyone ever see that movie Better Luck Tomorrow? Jeremy Lin’s story is reminding me a lot of the main character in the movie. He’s on the JV basketball squad, but everyone in the stands root for him because he’s a very mediocre athlete, and of course he’s Asian, so he’s a mascot of sorts along the lines of .
I also kind of hope Lin does the same thing the movie’s main character did: quit on his own accord. Not that I dislike the guy, but I sort of getting tired of reading glowing praise about this guy when he’s no more skilled than Adam Morrison. One analysis I read was that he’s similar to Sarunas Marciulonis, and that he made perfect short, entry bounce passes. Against NBA D-league talent, mind you…

there’s your chance to stick it to those kobe fans by putting up 30/8/8

you sunk his battleship!
so do hawaiians rank a notch above puerto ricans in your book? don’t think hawaiians are technically FOBs…
Looks like the Blazers picked up another player for their injury position.

In the movie that kid only was able to hit free throws. Lin can actually play.
Maybe if I was playing against middle school kids.
It’s cool when we watch games because I am the loudest therefor I win. I don’t care if there is 8 Kobe fans in the room, you will hear this 1 LeBron fan drown them out. I don’t know about this year though since LeBron with the Heat. That going to change the entire dynamics of everything.
This make no sense to me. The best Asian people here are flips. PBL SON PBL!
Did you ever play in PBL?
It’s funny how PBL is full of blacks, and viets here at times. I thought it was PINOY basketball league.

Oh well that’s Seattle for you.
They focused on the free throws, but he still made the team, albeit JV. A friend of a friend of mine likes to go on and on about how awesome Lin is, but so was Adam Morrison when he was in college, and a bunch of other lottery busts.
I can be happy for Lin if he makes a squad, but I’ll be annoyed that all these guys talking out of their butts now would get to say “I told you so.”

Crazy buzzer-beater by Marion in the Houston vs Dallas game.
This was on bleacher report, I thought it would make a good laugh.

I won’t even complain about Kobe’s rank but Gordon,Wall, Noah, Igoudala being better than Nash?

Making lists like that is stupid.

yeah that was fun even to see Ming guarding kidd on inbound
First of all, how do you make a list of t0p 50 players in the league with players who JUST GOT DRAFTED???
Secondly, how can people say Kobe has all the intangibles, all the skills to make the complete player, the drive, the skill, now the leadership, yet… you make him #4 just because 2 dudes can look flashier, dunk harder…yet are not the complete package or all around ball player he is??
Just one of many reasons this league sucks ass and is on the decline, this will be the worst/least watched NBA season in its NBA existence, watch and see
Switch Nash with Ginobili and I’m okay with the list.
that list is trash. imo kobe is clearly #1 right now looking down on all the other players.
Wall hasn’t played in a regular season game and the list also contains Bargnani…lol. Whoever made that list is on point!!!@ PREACH IT
Kobe is the clear number #1 but it’s not really fair for a Laker fan to argue without bias so I left it alone. Noah or Wall being ranked higher than Granger or Nash, and Rose being ranked higher than Paul is absurd.
