ESPN is saying there was tremendous energy in the building, yet when they show footage, tons of empty seats, and no one threw up their hands with Lebron.
there was tremendous energy in the first second third and some of the fourth. by the 5 or 6 minute mark, everyone left to go to the clubs. you gotta remember, it’s south beach.
Yay at Detroit possibly finding a new owner in iilitch! Im hoping as soon as the paperwork is done Joe goes into wheel and deal mode. Judging by how we played tonight we should trade the vets tank and grab a lottery pick… Than move on to the stuckey/daye/xxx era.

I never said they would get in. I just said they could get in with a 40-42 rec in the east.
Toronto was 9th with 40-42 last year. So the possibility of them getting in at 40-42 is not that outrageous.
It would not surprise me in the slightest. You are aware you’re talking about the Wizards, right? That team whose “best” player has played less than 50 games the last three years and hasn’t been especially effective when he did play? That didn’t break 50 wins the last two seasons combined? The team which, outside of having John Wall fall into their lap, made their biggest offseason splash by trading for Kirk Hinrich to be a backup? Those Wizards?

I got the Cavs making the playoffs with at least 41 wins.
The Wizards are fucked unless John Wall John Wall John Wall turns out to be super awesome right out the gate. Even then, the Wiz still wont do much.
That’s exactly why they don’t deserve to have a team with 3 all-stars on it. If Wad/Bosh/Bron played for the Pacers or the Knicks do you think people would have left the game like that.
Sports are a novelty act in South Beach not to knock some of the true sports fans in Miami but expect that most of the season.
lol Cousins getting a 16 and 16 in 26 minutes.
sigh I am trademarking the phrase “Reverse Jordaned” just in case Turner comes out a bust. Why trade your only real (albeit shitty) center and then take a Sf/sorta SG WHO NEEDS TO HAVE THE BALL ALL THE TIME when you have Andre I and Jrue Holiday already!?!
AHHHH. We could have taken Cousins and traded Iggy and parts to Minn and taken Turner too or something. Now we have like 7 SFs and 5 PFs who can’t rebound or play in the post. It’s time to make some trades Rod Thorn.
Lets get Iggy out of there. Mother fucker shot 2 threes yesterday. He should be shooting ZERO threes. ZERO.
That Iggy contract is too bad for anybody to take that on, just like that Brand contract.
There are 2 things that need to happen in order for Cleveland to make the playoffs. First, they have to stay healthy (essentially, no extended injuries to guys like Mo Williams, Jamison, Varejao, JJ Hickson). Secondly, they’re going to have to grind it out and stay competitive every single night, which is going to be difficult because of their lack of star power. I see them winning 35-40 games and getting in as an 8th seed (the east is more forgivable to its playoff bottom feeders), but I don’t understand the whole point to that considering the current circumstances. With your best player in franchise history gone, you have to enter the rebuilding phase by stocking up on high draft picks, trading away holdovers from the last couple of years, etc.
p.s. Marcin Gortat is no longer bald (he looks less goofy now)

Nah. Brands contract is team killing. Iggy’s is just bad.
He can be dealt. And should be dealt.
PS - Orlando should have given up everything they needed to to get Paul. The team can’t win the title as currently constructed.
Worry about your 42-win team and I’ll worry about mine.
Tyson agrees, and you are all balls crushing over Tyson. I think that was actually Tyson’s statement.
I’m not balls crushing over anyone, Fail Boy. Not even Tyson

The problem with the Cavs is, they’re talented, but that’s the most talent they’re gonna have all season, if they can even keep the team/coach in one place, thanks to Comic Sans Gilbert. In reality that’s a depressing situation, but it doesn’t have to be… it’s up to them to use what they got.
Wiz has a legitimate ROY hopeful combo Guard and probably a future All-Star. Heinrich isn’t a difference maker but he isn’t horrible and can match up with the league’s less-than-toptier guards. Jianlian isn’t comfortable as a C, but you can’t judge him on last years’ performance when the Nets tanked-- may as well say Brook Lopez is a scrub for no reason while you’re at it. If nothing else, they are very well-sized with Yi, Blatche, McGee up front. I shouldn’t consider Arenas since he looks suicidal, but that’s more talent than anything in Cleveland’s backcourt. I also wouldn’t consider trade potential, if I was comparing them with any team other than Cleveland.
But hey, they could tank on purpose.
All I’m saying is there’s more optimism in Washington than Cleveland.

These fools are stupid, boy.
That’s not what your constant facebook mash letters to Tyson say.

So when can we begin to have trade talks about ditching Yao.
