im a laker fan (i thought they couldve come back from 0-3)but the basketball fan in me knew what probably would really happen so them getting swept and blown out wasnt too surprising. as for blowing shit up. lakers dont NEED to get blown up but they should if there’s an opportunity to get howard for bynum. it’s not a big decision, throw in artest and they can resign howard with a $contract. fish needs to come off the bench or just use him for 1st and 4th quarter same way they used to use harper and brian shaw in those quarters. as far as odom, he played the way he always does, he can still bring the ball down and needs to get the boards and play D, offense is icing. odomss foul wasnt THAT bad. artest has been the same shit for past 2 years disappointing offensively and only decent defensively but he still has gets good position in the paint and sometimes finds his shot, and a couple good d plays. his foul in game 2 was strictly to shake up the mavs, strategic; as barrea was raping everyone. not him being crazyass artest or in the same area as the dickless play bynum did.
if they stick it out together they can still win next year, if they actually play hard. but bynum, just cuz he’s semi healthy and finally producing what hes supposed to be he makes shitty comments and these hard fouls on small dudes when it doesnt matter anymore. who knows how he’ll be if he actually starts playing all star basketball, he’s spoiled and immature and those injuries kept him in check. that ego looks dangerous and the team will blow up eventually cuz of it. salty? who gives a crap at that point. he is asking to be put on the chopping block. granted he backed up his “distrust” comments but shit all over his play when he bitched out on jj. i’d like to see him try that on chandler, perkins or kg or even old man shaq. there was no strategy to the hard foul, if it was in game 1 or 2 or even 3 it’d be less of a bs move but there’s no point at that point of the game. if he stays we still win a ship next year possibly, some speed tho. with howard it’s multiple ships and his ego doesnt need the stroke that bynum does, and that’s perfect for koboat.
