Melo is a top 10 player, but the Knicks killed off all their cap space already, gave up their only real center, will get crushed by big teams, gave up their best outside shooter, gave up their bench, gave up future draft picks that could strengthen their team.

I know Deron is good, but is he that much better than Harris that the Nets had to give up Favors as well? I mean, Harris isn’t some washed up scrub and he’s only really played full starters minutes in 2008 (when he averaged 21/7 on 43% shooting).
