I will always remember him coaching the Jazz when they had Stockton, Malone, Jeff Horneseck, (spelling?), Russell and Ostertag. They played tough against the Bulls during the Finals. Good luck to him

I way I see it Sloan’s just taking an early vacation. He’ll be back in 18 months for the 12-13 season, hopefully coaching the LOLRaptors.
I say 12-13 because while D-Will may or may not have driven Sloan to leave, it’s the billionaire owners that will have the last laugh when the lockout occurs. Memo to the players, you don’t get paid during a lockout. Considering the majority of players don’t save, and the owners earn revenue through other business ventures and aren’t limited to their sports teams it won’t be long until the players are forced to accept a hard-cap and a salary % rollback on all existing contracts.

I can sort of see what he wants out. He’s tasted victory when he went to the finals against Jordan, but got stopped every time. Since then, his teams have been good, but not elite. With Deron and Boozer, it was a tease but ultimately failed. Now his team is even worse. For a coach who’s been in the league as long as he has and not win, it must be really disappointing. Might as well quit now because the next few years are going to go to the Celtics/Heat/Lakers/Spurs. I know winning the ring isn’t everything, but to him it’s been so close but always out of reach.

They fucked up horse. If you go back and look at tapes of the old horse competition they gave both players the ball and they just went at it.
It the new version there is 3 guys with 1 ball and 1 ref.
After every shot the ref would grab the ball stand there for 5 seconds then pass the ball to the next guy ruining any momentum.
The old horse competition both players had a ball and they just went the second after the other guy was done and the flow of the game was awesome.
