Doesn’t it suck that our teams aren’t sucking enough?
I thought the Sixers were going to suck for a couple of years real good and get some real high picks to place around Jrue. They manage to get a super high pick by accident and then BOTCH it.
Now we are back to being stuck in no where ville which is super depressing. Doug Collins really isn’t that good of a coach either. He is like a normal skilled coach, which makes him seem AMAZING compared to super horrible Eddie Jordan.
If we don’t trade Iggy this year, I don’t even know. It’s like they don’t realize you have to suck for awhile to get really good unless you have a true Superstar. Jrue could be that guy, but he is just too young right now.
Iggy and Lou Williams need to go. I have no idea why we still have Lou Williams. He is REAL dumb. He is like Blatche dumb. Spieghts is dumb too. I can’t wait till we resign Thad to like 50 million for 5 years!
I was thinking of the 2000 Magic when writing that prediction late in the offseason. They didn’t have a single star player (their best guy was Darrell Armstrong), traded away their best guys for filler players and cap space, and had a rookie head coach in Doc Rivers at the helm. They went on to win 41 games and narrowly missed out on the playoffs. It was a fluke of a season for them, but one that I didn’t believe was far removed from Cleveland’s circumstances, especially since the Magic were only a few seasons removed from losing Shaq and in a clear rebuilding mode. Essentially, a lot of shit would’ve had to have gone right for these Cavaliers to sniff the 8th spot.
In other words, the sun has to shine on a dog’s ass someday.

I thought the Cavs would be much better then this either. They lost alot of guys but they should be doing better then what they are. The biggest problem really is all that money that was freed up from Lebron leaving they used it for NOTHING. Mo Williams is overrated like I had been saying for about 2 years.
I think Iggy to Dallas makes sense actually. Lets be honest Philly thinks Evan Turner is the future not Iggy. Iggy is a good player he just isn’t a guy you can have running your team.
Yes they do that is why they have been looking for people to takes Iggy’s ridiculous contract, the problem is no one will. Evan Turner has been playing better since Iggy was out as well. They really need to get rid of Elton Brands contract, he has bounced back pretty well he just does not fit that team. Orlando should try to see if they can trade for him. Maybe package Brandon Bass with some kind of draft pick compensation. He would be good playing on the other block from Dwight.
That’s the thing though, Philly should try to avoid getting Chris Wallace’d with Iggy, so they should shop him around for a while.
The thing is, I don’t know if he does have that much value, and I don’t know if the Sixers really want anything more for him than a salary dump. There’s three assets in every trade…salary relief, picks, and young guys.
Chris Wallace actually got all those pieces for Gasol. Kwame was the expiring in the salary relief, they got two first rounders out of it (which turned out to be Donte Green and…Greivis Vasquez?), and Crittenton and Marc Gasol were the young guys.
…that’s actually not as bad in hindsight.
Iguodala is not Pau Gasol, so…Caron’s expiring, a first rounder, and another first and/or a random rookie dude like Beaubois or something…that should get it done, I think. That’s rather optimistic expectation Sixers fans should have in terms of what they can get back for Iggy. Expiring contract, maybe a deep first rounder if lucky, and a random dude or two to match salaries.
Exactly, I won’t even entertain the rest of it besides the fact that with just 8 wins the Cavs can still make it to the playoffs since the 7 and 8 seed got only 14 and 15 wins.
They are offering Beaubois? Just Caron is stupid. But if we could get Beaubois, lets do it. He is just a tiny scoring guard anyway. He could back up Jrue.
I just want them to trade Iggy and Brand and start over. Dump Brand on somebody when he’s actually effective. It’s sad that I hate like 90 percent of the team. Oh Sixers.
I wanted to bro, but he has just been SO garbage. He is like the guard version of Thabeet. It looks like he has no idea what he is doing out there. The only good thing people can say about him like one quarter of the season in is that he gets rebounds.
I hope they trade Iggy and he can show some sort of progress toward being a useful player. But why take someone who needs the ball in his hands all the time to be effective when you already have Jrue? Why not take Cousins, especially when you just traded Sammie?

Last night I was a witness. I think I just witnessed LeBron finally embracing the role as the bad guy. I loved every single second of it. (Also rubbing it in to my friends who I went to Portland with they all rooted for Portland)

Bosh is also better than I thought. I figure he would be super duper sucky, but he was good.
Miami’s bench is terrible. I’m worried for the Chimeras in playoffs if LeBron, Wade, and Bosh have to do this every night. That’s 16 wins they need to do it for if they want a title.
Portland is much better than I thought.
