Campus Club? Do you guys not have clubs in your university district/area?
Or is your university in the middle of nowhere? (Your location says Toronto).
warriors played a great game tonight. lots of defensive stops late to cap a nice comeback. monta needs to be an allstar for sure.
We do have other clubs/bars in town, we just have our own club at our campus and that’s where students (and students from another uni nearby) mostly go on Wednesday nights because it’s like their signature event.
And nah, my uni isn’t in Toronto. TO’s got tons of clubs, and apparently visiting NBA players love the night life. To quote the intelligent Jason Whitlock from FOX sports:

though, kobe and either deron or paul are gonna get fan voted in, and then you gotta compete with westbrook and manu for the guard spots. its gonna be rough. i really think his likely hood is gonna depend on the warriors record and unless warriors get more wins like tonight, he’ll be fighting an uphill battle.
NBA TV plays it like every few days or so. Kind of hard to miss…

Warriors have the next 18 of 22 at home with only road games against LAC (x2), PHX, and UTA. With a healthy(!) roster finally and a relatively easy schedule, I hope Warriors go on a nice run and be .500+, increasing Monta’s chances for the All Star Game! :karate:

It was so nice to see them rebound in the 4th, make a comeback, and actually WIN! Usually its the other way around. Monta deserves an all-star bid more than anybody else in the west, right now.

no, no cable access. I wasn’t trying to comment on the game really, just say that the spurs are a good team. Definitely not MY spurs, i’m certainly not a fan, but they ARE good. Also, Rondo should be putting up huge numbers, people seem to be forgetting how good he is this year.

Yeah that no call on Pierce was pretty terrible. Rondo got fouled too but you could argue that the ball was up for grabs and players can dive for it. Dive into another player, probably not…
Still, the game wasn’t called too terribly in favor of either team. Refs are still calling travels on first steps, sometimes on perfectly legal pump fakes, and ignoring players taking 3 steps before a layup, but what else is new?
And the 61% shooting was better than most nights but no fluke. If Ray Allen has an open 15-20 foot jumper like he kept getting, he’s going to hit it. So is Davis, except his range is maybe 18 feet.
I like how Kerr said Kidd did a Steve Nash type of pass. As if Steve didn’t learn that from Jason when he played behind him in Phoenix. How quickly people forget.
yea, that “foul” on Pierce was the play I was talking about. the last 45 seconds of that game was very suspect, but the game as a whole was not.
