Spurs are not on pace for shit. They’ve had one of the easier schedules and they lucked out with a Manu game winner/charge in two games.
I’m not one of these “the games don’t matter until the playoffs” guys, but at the very least they don’t matter until schedules start getting harder for teams. The Lakers are breezing through shit right now also.
But see, unlike MY HEAT, none of these teams have gone into super hostile environments on the road and dismantled teams. Fuckin’ shit up since 2010, hoe.
The Heat are 9-8 buddy, they didn’t beat anybody in anything. On the Other hand the fucking Chimeras are 12-0.
I don’t know if you got the memo, but in that meeting they officially formed the Chimeras, and now they are on pace for 65-0.

This isn’t college football, there isn’t a BCS system in play. Dismantling teams doesn’t mean shit, style points don’t mean shit. It all comes down to Ws and Ls, and the Spurs have more Ws, and less Ls than the heat.
Don’t get mad at teams for not only beating the good teams, but beating the teams they’re supposed to beat as well. It doesn’t make them overrated, or mean they have an easy schedule, it means they’re consistent.
My lifelong fandom and dedication to both teams prevents me from participating in this discussion.

I didn’t compare the Spurs and Heat, nor did I say one was better than the other. I said the Spurs have barely played anybody (which is true, and neither have the Heat). So the statement stands, they are not on pace for shit.

Well duh Bubba, of course the Spurs (and Lakers, and Celtics) are going to have “mo’ Ws” than the Miami Heat. The core has only been together as a unit for like, I dunno… the Dinosaur period?
