yeah, we took an l when lebron took his talents to south beach and all that…but we got a guy who turned into a leader and put the team on his back.
lebron didn’t want to do that (he was doing that in cleveland and it didn’t work out). he wanted to chase rings and he didn’t care if he was the leader of the team or a role player/side kick/whatever.
thats fine. his decision is fine and i can understand why he’d do it…it was just the way he led ppl on and the fact that the show was in ct for me personally. it was mad disrespectful if you look at it like that. he’s running around ny with fitteds on, shoes that say yankees/ny, talking about how he wants to play in the garden, supposedly looking for houses on the upper westside, throwing the roc up, appearing on 50 cent tapes, etc. etc.
miami came out of left field (no pun). i mean miami was already decent and they already had wade and bosh at that point and riley is upstairs and was rumored to come down from then til before miami’s streak. vs the debacle of the knicks, at the time and for the past decade.
anyway i don’t think that any of us are salty at this point.
honestly i feel like its disrespectful at this point (for nyers) to even talk about lebron going to the knicks when you have stat carrying this team on his back.
and yeah, the yankees took an l with the cliff lee situation. we def wanted him and the money wasn’t what he wanted. he just did not want to play or live in ny. there is no plan b, c or d other than to develop who we have and hope for the best with this aging team.

D-Wade and Bosh didn’t even go to NY for their meetings either, they had no interest, never wasted our time, so that’s fine. D-Wade even feels that “they didn’t even want me there, they wanted Lebron”. Either way, I don’t blame him for staying in Miami. Bosh, who cares. In the preseason NBATV had a show called “real training camp” where they show teams during training camp.
The Laker’s training camp was practicing passing.
The Heat’s training camp was practicing defense.
The Knick’s training camp was practicing layups.
I figured the layups was just the opening drills and eventually they will get into defense, but they never did.
I think I can now say with confidence that they probably didn’t even attempt to practice defense at any point in training camp.

I think its funny when these fans at other arenas get rowdy off of these little runs teams do… not knowing Miami toys with everybody in the first half before breaking games open in the 3rd.

Btw, adding a scrorer (Melo) to a team full of scorers is retarded. Don’t let the media make you think otherwise. They tried to run a lot years ago in Denver and kept failing. They slowed down and started playing better defense. This is the only way to win with Melo.
