srk is not the only forum i’m on or lurk in my off time. shouldn’t even have to be explained.
i don’t always have enough time to watch the games like i’d like to but i’m a fan regardless. again, i was born into it.
all my teams i’ve liked since i was like 4 because everyone in my family did.
being questioned over this is bullshit.
who from ny doesn’t fuck with teams in ny? its like meeting someone from la that isn’t a lakers fan. you’re either a jets or giants fan or you don’t like football. you’re either a yankees or mets fan or you don’t like baseball. you’re either a knicks fan or…a knicks fan. shrugs
now you have all these ppl repping bk but its not because of the team.
but there is no other team to us. i’m not like some of you that rep the cowboys or redskins because they were good in the 90’s or whatever. i have teams where i’m from. i don’t have to learn to like another team because thats all they play in the market.
and another thing. where was this bullshit when i was ranting about the lack of defense, the lack of coaching, stat on his weekend at bernie’s bullshit, lin being 85% and choosing to collect a check rather than be there for us, injury after injury, flopping, the refs, stat being consistent doing dumb shit right before or during the first game of the playoffs, etc??
or when i posted the vid of us multiple times, in the 90’s playing d? before fighting a battle of gaining the respect of ppl after being the laughing stock of the league?

the whole thread is constantly on some lolknicks shit and its tired. niggas act like the knicks are the bobcats. the knicks have had coaching changes, roster changes, have seen multiple injuries to starters and backups, we don’t get calls from the refs and we don’t get any acknowledgement of it.
but thats cool. thats one of the reasons why i don’t like posting in here and why i prefer the knicks thread on nt.

the funny part is the same niggas always questioning me are the same niggas that was sucking lin’s dick when i was like chill…cautious optimism.
That’s because NT (and other sites like Boxden) are dominantly populated by NY niggas, and therefore are subject to Knick homerism. Ie; thinking they have a chance against the Miami Heat in a playoff series.
But that’s cool that you’d rather run from reality and be among other like-minded overly optimistic individuals who develop ridic egos from a few wins or a few signed players. We keep it real here, no sugarcoating, no bias. That’s how it should be.
The most amusing thing is how Knicks fans always trick themselves into thinking they are the underdog and that no one respects them. Completely ignoring the reality that any media outlet sucks off the Knicks almost every year and constantly talks about them and how they are a threat.
Maybe they do not trick themselves, maybe they are just that damn dumb.
