the knicks were bad, WERE BAD, because of a combination of reasons, mostly dealing with the roster switch and injuries however this guy is incapable of coaching defense and is certainly a factor in it all.
the knicks under our new coach are a lot better and again, this season so far 4-0, ball movement, defense and offense. only 4 games in but you’re fooling yourself if you don’t think the knicks will do well this year barring everyone tearing their acl like last year.

There isn’t anyone particularly in my sights (who would be available - see Ray Allen), and I also don’t think it should rest on a single person. LA’s bench is deceptive, it looks deep, buts its really not. If you can land two legit sharp shooters for Gasol and maybe a lottery pick, I’d pull on the trade, not only would it help with penny pushing, but it would open the floor, it owuld get value for Gasol while he’s stil lworth something, and its IMO the only shot they have at being playoff contenders. Right now, the only good shooter they have is Nash. Kobe is simply volume & rhythm beyond 12-15 feet. Blake is inconsistent and should not be a main or secondary tier ‘shooting’ option, same goes for Antwan.
Hell, I have a gut feeling that as we approach the all-star game, Minnesota might not to move Love, I think he’d be a VERY good Gasol replacement, though LA would have to part with another piece to make it work methinx. But I’ve never been ‘pro-twin towers’, and Gasol has never gotten my…appreciation with his uncanny ability to be un-uncanny. When Kobe and Nash come off the books, do you really think keeping Gasol with Howard is going to yield anything? I’m sure Mitch can swing a deal thats good for today and tomorrow. Hell - reunite Ryan Anderson with Dwight.
I am kind of mad that the Raptors lost, but on the other hand DeRozan played an insane 60 minutes in triple OT, took 33 shots, and scored 37, and I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.
D’Antoni will never win a championship. The guy is surely a capable coach, but defense is what wins in the playoffs and people in LA have high expectations.
I never said that I thought that the schedule was tough.
If anything the media said we’d be like seventh or eighth seed this year and lose to the teams we’ve won against. Again, only four games in but I feel like we can be third or fourth seed if not higher.
