People are saying lets wait on Nash but he’s out for another two weeks, these are games the lakers are going to have to make up just to get a 6-8th seed at this rate. Teams are licking their chops when they get ready to play the lakers, everybody trying to get a piece of the pie right now. No defense, no depth, no youth, no FTs, and only one spot up shooter.

I was just on LG and people are pissed at Phil because of that TMZ video. Everybody with common since knew before hand that we were a top heavy roster. If injury occurred we were screwed. Now it’s up to Mitch to get a usable PG and the team to keep us afloat.

LOL @ umm remember the year steve nash was on the all defense team… Neither do I. Even with Nash, the Lakers are worse than the Magic were when they went to the finals.

Fix the offense, Nash won’t fix the D but a decent PG will help with the turnovers. The team is currently last in turnovers I think unless it’s the Rockets.

In the Cavs game they scored 19 points in the first half off 13 turnovers that’s unacceptable. Morris turns the ball over by either over dribbling or picking up his dribble and making a bad pass. Duhon is trash, Kobe has terrible handles and everybody knows of Dwight’s problem of getting stripped.

The Lakers are 1-12 in games they have more turnovers than opposition it should be a given that you lose but some of those games have been close.

I get the argument, a cleaner offense means less turnovers (the ball is out of Kobe’s mangled Silent Hill-looking hands more often), which means Lakers having to chase down opponents half their age in transition less often. Since D’Antoni plays zero defense the offense must be pretty much perfect. Even when Mike Brown was there, heavy turnovers were the number one reason for losing.

However. Something is very wrong if a 40-year-old Steve is the ONLY PG on the roster who can run Tonyball the right way. Even Dragic figured out how to be an adequate Steve replacement. Felton is running Tonyball right now. I’m blaming the team’s playmaking woes on the coaching staff failing to manage the roster effectively.
