MVP is overated. Kobe had 4 rings before he got his first MVP, MVP voted based on critics and sport journalst that ride the hype that season. if it were me, Id give it to LBJ every season from way back in his early Cleveland days, he did everything but win a ring in those season.

Not to discredit Dirk or nash, but they are only ONE person out of that country. Its even more lol for nash cuz look our Canadian team didnt even qualify for this years games.

Of course there will be exceptions for exceptional players from other country but NBA is dominated by American black men. And the quantity and quality of them vast out weight what other countries can produce. When any given night, in your team anyone is capable go off a hot run like Melo last night, it tough for other country to have that kind of advantage in a team.

I’m with you on the MVP, and frankly when Nash got it, it was really because they didn’t want to give it to Shaq again (see MAlone’s MVP).

But my point was more that the quality of foriegn players is rising not just steadily but quickly.

My prediction? The Raptors will win a championship…in 4…before the Wizards win a chip, in 7…

None of those players outside of Johnson is a game changer unless Teletovic pans out. The Knicks are a whole lot deeper than the Nets are. ****

Anyone who isn’t Rod Thorn is potentially a good hire as long as it isn’t Billy King.

Guy helped run the Trailblazers when they had 3000 injuries and they still won a bunch of games. It would be nice if we could trade Doug Collins for Nate McMillian though. He also knows a shit load about the salary cap.
