you can’t argue at all about what lin has accomplished in his first 4 career starts. hate all you want but the dude has been making history

  • first player since zeke to get 28/8 in first nba start
  • highest point total in first 4 career starts in 25 years
  • first knick player to score 38 this season/against lakers in 20 something years too, i think

kobe got the top but couldn’t go linfinity and beyond [tonight anyways…]

ms.cleo prediction - jose calderon shuts lin down on tuesday. he’s going to out-lin lin like last time he out-chris pauled chris paul. bet it.

Bynum salty.

Oh my gawd, Z-Bo was throwing up shots in practice and might come back soon.

Muh team is saved!!

As a long-suffering Knick fan, I have not stopped cumming since the CLUTCH charge Lin drew. Dude scores 38 WITHOUT looking like he was even looking to score. He scored 38 all within the flow of what the Laker defense was giving him. AND played defense?! NY has been starving for a PG like this. Just needs to cut down on those turnovers and he’ll be perfect.

Funniest thing was, my brother kept talking about this guy about a year back saying “Hey, this Lin dude from Harvard looks good man.” I ignored him, didn’t give a shit, however the past 4 games he’s played, yes, call me a bandwagoner, I will admit it 100%. Dude has fucking impressed me, and has actually made me want to watch NBA games fully again, which is something I hadn’t done on a consistent basis for years besides the playoffs.

I’m hoping the Asian Sensation keeps this up, he is bringing hype into the NBA, which is severely needed. I’ll be looking forward to the next Knicks game and I’m a Bucks fans at that.

dang bynum is real mad

Once ZBound is in the mix with a healthy Rudy Gay HOLY SHIT

i don’t even know. i just…
he’s a blessing, thats for sure.

You guys are insanely lucky right now. You got Wolves, Raptors, Kings, Hornets, Mavs and Nets next. Toughest ones are Mavs and Kings, but that’s a potential 10 game winning streak especially with Amar’e being back for all but 1 game.

Lin is good for the NBA. Give him star powers! And give him #7, that JL7 emblem he has is hard. Lakers were in it until the last couple minutes before Lin re-entered the game. Teammates better step up! Regardless of turnovers the ball is best in Lin’s hands for now.

Get rid of Carmelo Anthony before he ruins the team chemistry !!!

I knew Lin would have a good game (Fisher tends to do that to opposing PGs), but 38?! No one (except maybe a couple people) saw that coming, and he did it in the flow of the game (as mentioned earlier by Galactic). His shots weren’t forced, and he made great decisions. I can see Lin getting double figures in assists once Stoudemire gets back (and Stoudemire will find his groove again from the Phoenix days). As I said before, when Carmelo comes back, though, it will greatly affect the chemistry. I see Lin having a big game against the T-Wolves, as Minnesota isn’t really that good defensively. I think the game will be potentially close, though… could go either way.

This guy was the California state high school player of the year, yet he wasn’t offer a scholarship by a D1 school… wow.

AkumaTX: You’re most likely right about the Kobe draft situation. I thought Kobe forced his way out of Charlotte. Maybe I don’t remember the situation that well.

Kobe had a list of teams he wanted to play for and he said he would not play for anyone else. He told Charlotte if they drafted him, he was just going to sit out. So that is why the trade happened. Everyone knew about Kobe and knew he was going to be good.

I think everyone on the current Charlotte team is sitting out.

I’m at a loss for words to what Lin has done tonight. Never would I imagine a no-name 4th string Asian dude going toe-to-toe with Kobe Bryant…and outperform him.

This shit is unreal.

Michael Jordan should suit up and start playing. He’s embarrassing as an owner.

If he keeps Lin it will be a dollar. Any undrafted guy on waivers that you pick up is a dollar to keep.

Any guy who was drafted that you pick up costs the base ESPN price next year. This is why Ckrazy can keep Lin for a dollar and I can’t keep Horford for a dollar.

I really hope Carmelo comes back and fucks up the offense with his stupidity. Just play like you did in the Olympics dumbass.

Yeah that needs to be changed, all players should be base value if you did not draft them.
