i dont like that the all star game counts i think its stupid
I stopped caring about the all star selection when they expanded the roster size. Seems like anyone can be an all star 
I just that fans only vote for their own players. Weiters being voted in is a joke. Same with selecting players based on previous seasons (Scherzer and Price).

That rule is fucking stupid, countless years of people who should never make the All Star game making it just because they are on a shitty team.

I’ve always hated that rule. Why would a team 15 games out of the 2nd wild card spot (which is another stupid rule) need a player in the All Star game?
Either change the rule that every team must be represented or have the game not mean anything.
i actually dont mind it, it creates more fan interest in the game. the all star game should not count for HFA in the WS though

So Tanaka is on the DL with right elbow inflammation. I think he was scheduled to pitch on Sunday. So he was going to be replaced anyways. Hopefully its Richards. Sale looks like he’s winning the final vote.
