Exactly in the big scope of things, exactly how important is it to be number 1 in a game, a game. I’m sure that the other 9/10ths of the population of the world really care if you’re number one at MvC2. Which as I meant on the wide scale, being number one at any game doesn’t mean anything. Which implies for both EX3 and MvC2.
Go out of the US and most gamers don’t care about MvC2 anyway. heck outside of what? 6 small regions in the USA, no one really cares if you’re the best at MvC2. Just because EX3 also has 6 regions (although smaller than the regions for MvC2), doesn’t make it that insignificant compared to MvC2.
Thing is, you are in the US, and most people here care about MvC2. Big scope really is that #1 is taking all the loot, and MvC2 got more loot than EX3.
when more people play Puzzle Fighter than EX3, that should tell you something. And how many people outside of the US play ex3? probably less than mvc2.

Not my fault everyone is stuck on a game that has over 100 glitches and is so unbalanced that only a handful of characters are actually playable. Then they cry for somthing new, but don’t accept anything new.
Thing is, if EX3 had an arcade release and wasn’t a rush job so it could get that arcade release in the first place (unless you believe that a game created between 73 days to 3 months to not be a rush job so it can make the PS2 debute). It would be a lot bigger than it currently is.
Heck look at Justins track record, exactly how many other people are getting shots at getting the loot? like practically none. So since you ain’t got a chance of getting the loot in MvC2, you’d best go for the loot in a game that you can actually win the loot in as opposed to donating to the Justin Wong fundation.
Do you mean Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo? Or Super Gem Fighter? If you mean Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, well of course more people play it. It had more exposure that EX3 did due to an arcade release, and was a damn addicting game at that. If Super Gem Fighter… then what are you smoking?
Actually the number of people outside of the US that play EX3 is probably close to the same number of people that play MvC2. Since the most of the rest of the world is more concerned with SNK games for whatever reason.

MvC2 is a lot more entertaining then any of those games…In terms of characters, glitches, combos, and most importantly, COMPETITION…This game has carried on for more than 3 years…

Now that I’m working, I’m already bored, so here’s my log of this past MWC, Texas style.
I tell it like it is so you’re gettin all of it, the good, the bad, and the horrid.
Wednesday night 6-23
Mike Ochoa was already in town so him, me, Freddy, Carnevil, Andjita and Kensou were out chillin over at Daniel’s crib. I got there all late n shit cause I had to work, 0wn3d f00’s hardcore with Spiderman/Juggernaut/Tron, shit goes hardcore! Anyways, Kensou and Freddy were having some master challenge battle royal pig sacrificing human defacing something or other match in KoF2k3 where at the end of it, Kensou quit his 2173971237812378123th game competitively(he later started playing it again right before and after the MWC tournament.) Some other crap was being worked out, and the voices of “NINJA’S GONE WILD!!!” kept comin out of their mouths, followed by “DAMN IT! SHUT UP! MY DAD’S ASLEEP!” from Daniel’s.
We decided it would be best to take our shit outside, where we then decided to grab our crap and stay at Freddy’s, this was around 1:30am. Kensou said his place was just down the street from Daniel’s. Unfortunately, we found out he meant down the street like how Los Angeles is down the road from Houston. =P So we FINALLY get to Kensou’s place, sit outside his garage gettin attacked my monster mosquitos waiting for him to get his shit. Mike goes off talking about how he can’t play Puzzle Fighter cause he breaks his shit too early, “I just can’t hold it back!” he said. I replied, “That’s why you ain’t goin first in the Master Challenges!” “Yeah, lemme introduce our first contestant… SPLAT!!! Next show…SPLAT!!!” Kensou came out and we were still cracking up, “I don’t wanna know, leave me outta it.”
We got to Freddy’s around 4am, they wanted to get some sleep in since we would be on the road for about 15-18 hours. Since we were going to “leave” around 4pm the next day.
Thursday 6-24
We hadn’t even left yet and it all went to hell. Our plan was to rent a big car to fit 9 of us, split the cost and gas leave by 4, get there before Puzzle Fighter and be happy. That fell through. Plan B, rent 2 cars, too expensive. Plan C Rent a car and use one of Big Chris’s cars, dad wouldn’t let him take the car. Plan D Rent 2 cars, see Plan B. Plan E, ask Cmutt for help.
Big thanks to Cmutt, else this would be the end of my MWC experience.
So we leave Houston… at 9:30pm. Cmutt’s car took off an hour ahead of us. We made Gus and his car stick around at Deerbrook Mall til 7:30pm, lol, my bad! 
Big Chris took first shift, and it looked like we were on our way, figured we could all take like 3-4 or 5 hour shifts and we’d only need a few drivers each way, we were set. Then Big Chris pulls over like 1.5 hours into the trip. John Sanchez takes over, nearly hits a truck, granted there was this damn fog that rolled up, but that was a damn big ass truck. Daniel took over after that, the fog disappeared, Daniel proclaimed, “I ain’t ever leaving this seat, I got room!” He drove for like 5 or 6 hours. Halfway through, Kensou checked up on him, “Man, I can’t tell if he’s awake or not, I can’t even see him over the chair, all I see is a hand on the wheel! Yo! Daniel! ARE YOU OK?!” Which was replied by everybody in the car, awake or not, “Buster Wolf.”
Friday 6-25
Morning came up, I took over for a few hours, got really pissed cause the stupid Expedition wouldn’t go above 100. John drove for a bit, then Big Chris, then we came up to about 30 minutes before the start of the tournament. “Shit! We need to hurry our asses up! Mike! Take the wheel!” Yeah, that was a great idea. Well, after numerous calls from Genius, we found out that he managed to get Jason Wilson to back up the time of the tournament, Thanks to Jason Wilson, and apologizes to all the PF competitors for waiting for us. Not making excuses, but I wish we woulda got there early so we could rest before we had to play, most of us we kinda shell shocked and couldn’t see straight, but no excuses, congrats to the top placers. Anyhow, Mike takes over, about 10 miles away from the exit to the arcade, this is where the infamous shoulder speeding crazy taxi exhibition race came about. I dunno how fools heard or even saw about it, but no cops did! Mike mad two monster cuts on the shoulder which shaved at least 30 minutes of traffic time. Each time Gene Flowers goes, “OH MAN!!! WE GONNA DIE!!! I DON’T WANNA DIE!!!”
So we finally get there, all late n shit, tourney started for PF, and Vampire Savior. Me, Daniel, Freddy, and John Sanchez sign up. All I remember is the screen sucked, green and yellow looked alike, I shoulda picked Sakura, Genius owned up, Daniel choked, Valle owned us all(Morrigan players don’t count =P), and Justin got lucky I didn’t play him.
Freddy got 4th in KoF, Genius got 3rd in Vampire Savior and PF, Daniel got 4th in PF, I got 7th. Jan got 5th in KoF. SvC happened but I don’t care. There were a couple of cute asian chicks walking around, then you got up close to them and realized they weren’t all that cute. 3rd Strike, I saw lots of Chun’s, Ken’s, some other characters were there but they died. Me and Mike wanted to see what was going on, but it wasn’t on a projected cab, and I’m short as fuck, so me and Mike just chilled and stared at Vanessa’s ass. Couldn’t help it, she was on a stool, and the only female there. “Which one you think is gonna win, the left ass cheek or the right?” “It’s a toss up, draw game.” You already know the results. Prayed for food, I got hot dogs and nachos, my stomach is gonna love me in the morning. Went back to the room. Big Chris was already asleep, unfortunately his feet weren’t. Geezus… that had to be… the most horrid stench I have ever smelled. So bad in fact that, Mike and Daniel moved to another room, and me and Freddy camped out in the car.
Saturday 6-26
Didn’t really need to go, but then again nothing better to do right? CvS2 starts, woo. GGXX will start after the quals are over.
Vanessa was on the big screen with her r4 K-groove Sagat. Crow losses, Ashley does too, pretty soon everybody from TX is out of the regular quals. Alex Navarro qualifies. Everybody enters the re-entry tourney. Gus goes on a rampage and beats Valle, Crow, and Fubarduck in a row. Ashley takes out Gus, and then Nibor to qualify for Sunday. They held an SF Anniversary ed tournie, I’m pretty sure they got results up somewhere, all I know is, for the 2nd MWC in a row Joe Congdon got beat by the best Honda in the world. GGXX starts… at 11pm.
The games they had at Nickel city were pretty cool. Free Samurai Showdown 4 all day, Smash TV, TMNT, and MK1.
There was an MvC2 team tourney also. As everybody has heard by now, Brad(Carnevil) beats Ricky Ortiz’s whole team. Brad teamed with Daniel and Ivan. Ricky’s team had Eddie Lee and Jummpeee who true to his name, jumped ship from Houston’s other team so he would “win some money”, they didn’t, go make from cookies bitch! I teamed with Joe Reyna and Ricky Flores. We went 0-2, Joe got inivited onto Philly’s team with Rick Mears and Demon Hyo. They ended up 2nd to Justin’s team. Anyhow the GGXX tourney ended at like 4am. Genius won, Fubar got 3rd, Jake got 5th, Turtler 7th and Kensou 9th. GGPO, go back to the room of death, was so tired I didn’t give a fuck about the stink and fell asleep in my usual chair. Before crashin me, Kensou, Jan, John S, Gene and Big Chris were talking about the tourney and what we needed to do. Obviously the talk didn’t help cause all of us played like shit. Highlights of the chat:

Sunday 6-27
MvC2, I wanted to oversleep, but just not possible. Went over to the arcade, played some warmup matches, got some wins, beat Valle on a fuckup lol! First match everybody from Tx won, except Sandbag(Big Chris). I think Tx was like half of the bracket or something, there were a lot of us there. Daniel had Justin 2nd round, I had Rick Mears 2nd, we’re both in losers early, Megaman just couldn’t cut it that day. Joe beats Matrix, loses to X and Madbooface, Brad loses to Blazinflo and Madboo, Daniel gets taken out by Taiji, I tied with Daniel, Ivan loses to Eddie Lee and Juicy G, Mike beasts f00’s with Omega Red til he gets peaced out by Wigfall and Ricky Ortiz. Jummpeee takes Ricky Ortiz out first round, then peaces out to I dunno who and ties Ivan, Ricky Flores, Mike O. and Joe, Brad does the best outta all of us.
Didn’t really care about the rest of the tournament so I just helped out Juicy and Madbooface a little bit with the tourney then went out to the redemption games. Every got Simpsons bats, Daniel broke the Sonic redemption machine, Jummpeee got owned by Matrix(pics coming soon) X was pimp, Justin was in some kinda Bangbus car, pics everywhere with everybody, ggpo.
Went back to the hotel, grabbed Mike and Daniel’s shit, packed up and took off. Rode behind Cmutt’s car, ate at Denny’s. Laughed uncontrollably at the pics we took. Mike and Genius and their cock fights, Fubar posing, Jummpeee gettin owned, too good. Gettin back to our cars, we of course take our after meal chat. Halfway into it, Mike Santana come out and says, “Hey Cmutt, we outta get going, some of us have things to do.” Cmutt replied, “Mike, when I want your opinion, I’ll give it to ya!”
So after that we take off for home.
Monday 6-28
