I think it sucks, ppl only get you with it if they can get into hugging range… and everybody knows you DO NOT hug in gears of war… except for Marcus and Dom :razzy:

Which isn’t a very hard thing to do in Gears. Weapons of choice goes to hammer burst and the SMG.

Really? I had the impression that it was way easier to down players who just charge in, especially with the retro lancer.
I do like the hammer burst too though, I think it could have a tad more damage, but I guess it is all up for change.
I just hate the re-spawning mechanic. If you die, you should stay dead.
Retro lancer is nasty ass hell for mid to close range, but my play style is more geared towards long ranged weapons. I think the damage output is fine…especially when you have an active reload. Shotguns are way too random for me to run up on folks, so I stay away lol. I like the respawn. I hate waiting so it works out perfectly.
mvc3 at bnb was pretty fun. good job getting 3 set ups wizzle and funkyp. getting done at 11 was really awesome. thanks for the live stream, my friends were watching me drop my combos from the comfort of there own homes. anyone have any tips for beat rizzo’s great defence with chris redfield. that guy is a bad dude with him.
