Yeah, this is kind of crazy. How much longer is it going to be down? I haven’t been on Marvel 3 or Mortal Kombat for a while. Man, as soon as MK drops the network goes down. This is pretty bad. Well, at least I wasn’t paying for the service. 
The network is supposed to get back up sometime next week probably. I guess it’s a good thing for me at least, as it’s dead week/finals week.

I’m not gonna get my panties in a bunch over the psn thing. If you used a cc on it no money of yours was taken, at worst you’ll have to make a phone call to the bank. Banks deal with this shit on a daily basis, I’ve had my cc stolen before and it was easy to recover and clear the charges.
Now if you put your debit info on it you are a true idiot, dont let anyone touch your debit info. companies themselves will steal money from you no need for hacking.
And any widely used online service is susceptable to hacking, sony just happened to be a very big target. Steam and WoW accounts get hacked into all the time.
I’m not saying this isn’t an issue, but if it affects you just deal with it like an adult.
