Got it too sometimes, but also over 1k. US may be terrible but at least it i sstable.
Belial on Nightmare was the first real gear check I’ve seen. Holy shit that caught us off guard. Couldn’t really rely on beams, had to spec some of the more mobile damage
So new monk spec has inferno going pretty easily. + life on hit is really unfair for monks. Put on your 2 different damage aura’s and now I’m gaining ~3k life per sec for each mob around me + another 2-3k per sec from spamming abilities.
Sword + Shield for Life. There is no point in using anything else imo unless your dps’ing as a monk for some reason in a group but if I see a monk do that I’m going to tell him to get back to the kitchen and tank.
We’ll see how long Monks can ride the wave.
So at the end of nightmare and a ridiculous number of hours playing, I finally find a legendary…and it’s a crappy spear =/
The same people that made Diablo II no longer work for the company. The game is not Diablo II; that much is certain. The game is not bad though.
here’s how I roll in the AH
- set your shit item by item. Don’t look for EVERY piece of armor u could afford. Look for a glove, or a ring, or whatever. One at a time so you can read the list.
- only look for rares…seriously, who looks for legendary now, or blue? And try to aim for 5 boosts and a socket. A rare with only 4 skill boosts, sucks.
- pick the stats you need (if you’re a wiz, look for INT, if you’re a DH, look for DEX), and try to play around with the min stats if necessary…dont forget the socket!
- start with a low price for buyout. You’d be amazed how often somebody sells something for a low price, just to dump or because they’re dumb.
Generally, I aim for around 10-15k for low-mid weapons, 50-100k for mid-60, and above that be prepared to pay. Gear, usually a little lower than weapon prices, but depends on the stats. If you have even ONE bad stat on a weapon, dont even bother. Seriously, i hate seeing AH full of garbage, like a wizard helm with a ton of STR on it (wasted stat), or people selling something with only 4 good abilities but nothing else, for a ludicrous price. Don’t even bother yourself. 99% of the rares that drop, you should be just selling or salvaging.
And KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR SOCKETED ITEMS. I pick up a lot of items where people seem to forget they still have a really good gem in there. Got a perfect square ruby in a helm today, and it cost me nothing (300k for a PSR right now, if you can even manage to find one on the AH)
anywho, why do the gems suck so bad now? No more adding poison to a weapon with emeralds? Amethyst is a waste of a gem, period.
US server is only stable when it isn’t peak hours. Otherwise, you just have a cluster fuck of random lag spikes.
On a side note. I’m playing with three friends, and all of us are in Hell right now. There has been one Legendary drop between the four of us, and it happened about halfway through Act 1 Hell. Those things have seriously low drop rates.
Have you been smashing stumps and barrels and shit? They come from there too.
Also, real $$ auction house means lower drop rates.
My account got hacked while I was at work. Stash/inventory got decimated besides some gems, all my money was gone. All my wizard’s gear is intact (?).
Took 5 days.
They even told or sold my goddamn potions. That’s so wrong.
Shit sucks man. Look at your Friendslist and see if you get some suspicious asshole on there, and hopefully Blizzard will do something about it.

Yeah, I’m not sure why they didn’t strip me naked. I followed all of Blizzard’s instructions on their site and submitted a ticket. All I can do is wait now.
If you play the game at all, then you are at risk of being hacked. The hack bypasses authenticator, password, e-mail, etc.
People have been saying that Blizzard will rollback your account, but the rollback is 48 hours.
Within 48? Or just 48 back. That would suck. I got a lot of stuff in the last 48 hours.
Might be better to not rollback and just ask friends to get you back on your feet.
