I’m almost at P1300… I think 1297 as of this morning? And TBH, once you’re up here, getting a level is forever and I don’t get how some nonseasonal dudes have closing in the 3k mark… Like that QUin69 dude.
Also, at this level a single level doesn’t improve you at all… The paragon cap exists, but only console hackers have it… it’s 10k.

Quin69 plays a lot…

They really are just making Primals a straight stat boost. People are actually advocating for more grind.

sigh

Seems to be some talk about revising it after the initial criticism.
Hopefully it wont be just a stat boost.

I can’t wait for my first primal ancient to be Blackthorne’s belt. SUCH VALUE.

Homing Pads and Firewalkers.

Hey at least Homing Pads see use in Hardcore.

Meh, I’ve played lots of hardcore and never once felt myself in a position where if I was in a situation dangerous enough to TP, I’d feel confident just sitting there and letting its effect do its thing lol

as a long term goal why not. By the second day dudes have full ancient weapons and armor… Like it would be nice for the non leaderboard grinders to have something to go for that will take a while to rng. I think a third step in gearing is a good thing for the long term. However as a seasonal thing i dont think its a good idea since the sweaty leaderboard tryhards may get really bad luck with 1% drop rates. Also the fact that you only get 3-4 months to gear up

Remove leaderboards from this game. I’m tired of discussions always revolving around that bullshit and not just adding cool fun stuff to the game. Rub your dick elsewhere, Diablo is supposed to be for people who want to sit alone in the dark for months on end.

Haven’t been playing D3 for while now. The new update is better versions of Ancient gear? Boo to that.

Been playing Grim Dawn lately. Anyone else playing that?

Put a good 80 hours into it. It’s a good game overall but it feels… unfinished in terms of story/map progression. No randomly generated maps kinda sucks too, but overall it’s a very good and cool Diablo clone.

I’ve always been a huge DH fan with a little WD, and not much else. I enjoy kiting builds, so I run a melee Tal Rasha Wizard and I have a speed monk just for grinding out riftstones.

With the new buffs on Wastes, I’ve been trying to build my first STR build. Can anyone give me pointers? I can speed through T11 with him, can run GRs up to about 63ish before I start dying too much.

Is there any specific stats / configurations that I should be looking for? Right now, I’m running Obsidian, Convention, and Skull Grasp, focus on getting my shouts and such up, and I stun with ground stomp.

Should I focus on the standard CHC/CHD? Best gems? Using Trapped, Taeguk, Stricken atm.

Never tried leapquake before, holy shit this build is fun as fuck.

Yo dawg I heard you play D3. So we put RNG in your RNG!

I picked up Grim Dawn because it’s from the guys who made Titan Quest. So I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. I’m OK with the lack of random maps. The world map is massive though…I’m guessing they’re going to have lots of DLC to fill it up? I see the one they have currently, but I haven’t bought it yet.

So the primal changes were announced. Instead of making stats a tier above ancient, now a primal is just a perfectly rolled Ancient (as in, all stats on it are rolled at max).

And they only drop for you after you solo gr70

Guaranteed perfect rerolls…

They definitely needed a hard, actual gameplay incentive to motivate pushing higher grifts and for the average player I think grift 70 is a good target to shoot for. You’ll actually care about your gear and gameplay now for much longer.

This is a way better change. Too bad I never cared enough to go above 60+. lol

If I ever get to that point, I’m sure my first Primal Ancient will be YA BOI anyways.

Yeah but that’s why I think this change is great. You’re going to want to push to 70+ now but not just that, you’re not going to put in the work without getting the pay off of some sweet primal drops so you’re motivated to continue playing beyond that.

70 is a really good target for the average player where it starts to feel decently challenging without needing perfect gear, so this is like the first real long term gameplay incentive that isn’t just more primary stats.

Now all Blizz needs to do is make crafting mats auto pick up like blood shards/gold… That would be fucking amazing.
