…that power-level :o well, time to go back and train under 500x gravity then…

*Diamonds instead of topaz everywhere…interesting…some of this is surely how you distributed paragon points then?

ah and something to do with Chantodo’s Force… I vaguely remember they changed that and made it into some items that people actually can care about now…

the diamonds are because archon provides so much power on its own, you mostly just have to worry about not getting killed before you can get the archon stacks rolling in.

yeah ken, gearing up is stupid fast in 2.3, it seems like everyone is t6 ready before paragon 100.

Ppl with good rng… Im paragon 90 and struggle on t4… 4 pc ik the ancients do more dmg than me. Getting carried by AI… I cry a bit inside every rift. Keep getting the same 3-4 legs over and over and over… cant even count how many severs i have gotten.

Your build looks pretty yolo for a hardcore build. Going fast is cool and all, but I’d more be worried about not dying. You can try looking at this guide as a guideline:

Ice Climbers are very underwhelming compared to Hexing Pants; complete waste of a cube slot. You should really consider getting a Pride of Cassius and dumping either Sprint, Charge, or War Cry for Ignore Pain since Ignore Pain breaks CC and is pretty low cooldown and low downtime, especially with Pride of Cassius. I’d look into replacing Steady Strikers as well; it’s pretty weak overall. Much better options out there.

Ken, gearing up in 2.3 has been pretty easy, granted I think I had better luck this season than last season starting off. My gear isn’t even complete and I can do T7 with ease on my DH. Given how easy it is to gear up, I think it was a mistake to make a “farming character” first before making your Crusader. D:

I don’t do level 60 rifts… On T7-8 I’m not in any risk of dying as long as I keep spinning bc of the extra defense and life regen. The problem with ignore pain is that I have to react to this coming out of nowhere, and then click the button, and it’s too slow based on previous experience. All you need is one shitty unlucky scenario to get killed. That’s why I prefer a prevention method that’s automatically on. (Adding another recharging skill that will take away from Zodiac’s charges is a hindrance). Plus the extra speed, which affects both me and the party, really helps clear stuff faster.

going to do my first seasonal hardcore run with a demon hunter. wish me luck.

You can actually perma ignore pain by using the belt and ring of the zodiak. I ised this combo early last season to push past where my barb coudnt survive. Its a good way to not use WoTB. Use battle cry?? Or rage or waht ever and sprint and spam it as you gain more and more rage resets the cd real quick making you have that perma survivability buff plus you cant get stunned or stopped while ts active.

If you’re not at risk of dying then why do you care about Jailer affix? As HallowBlade pointed out, you can permanently have Ignore Pain up if you have enough CDR and Pride of Cassius, which solves your issue AND gives you more survivability. Again, I would go with that rather than swapping out Hexing Pants with Ice Climbers since you actually gain way more than you lose with what I suggested. If I’m playing an infinitely squishier DH and can react to Jailer by hitting Vault to break the root in time, then I’m sure you can hit Ignore Pain in time (providing you even have downtime on it). Another way to think about it is that with perma Ignore Pain active, you can sacrifice some toughness for some damage to make your clears faster as well.

Ignore pain is super underrated… Ignore pain will not allow you to get rooted. Thus spinning forever… And ever and ever.

i used ignore pain last season and the season before. its so good, i almost feel its required in higher levels, it will save your ass!!!

from kadala or the cube?

Wait wat, since when do ww barbs care about any kind of crowd control like Jailer or Freeze?

Both, pretty much. Although I have not used the cube too much.

When you stop WWing, apparently. Either way, Ignore Pain should be used anyways because constant 50% damage reduction is OD.

You never stop WWing, you have a 100% uptime for WotB and don’t care about any CC effects at all.
6ik/2wotw, 6ik, 6wotw+oroz, you’re always a big clump of not caring lava.

both

i think it really helps that you can wear sage’s and get double the death’s breaths, whereas there isn’t a way to just get more blood shards or legs without simply playing a higher difficulty. i can wear full vyr’s and do t7, or i can wear 4p vyr’s and 2pc sage’s with rrog and do faceroll t6 and get like 70% more death’s breaths.

Apparently that is not the case for Tataki.

I need to figure out a decent setup so I can wear Sage set and farm DBs on my DH.

Ugh… Makes me wanna roll DH again, but… I always roll DH. I have been enjoying WD at the moment. Stacking poison is stupid. Been enjoying Leoric’s mace and using Bats w/ Vampiric rune to proc the poison AOE. Mind you, I’m only like, lvl 50. I’ll be back to grinding her up when I finish with dinner though. That cat off-hand will be mine!

I’ll grind you, Imouto~

Season Journey. Anyone know how this works exactly? Does your progress carry over across Seasons? So if I don’t get the higher ranked portrait frames in Season 4, can I grab them in Season 5?

Nope, the season journey is just for this season, next season will have a new set of challenges and rewards

Damn… So basically Diablo wants my soul.
