Official Diablo 4 Thread : Hype train departing

Oh you can only have four players in a game? :frowning:

Apparently have closed beta access now…anyone know if you keep the betamaxed achievements and the perks that come with it?

Nvm, apparently you don’t get to keep them. Pretty pointless.

BTeKs#1501

HOW?

Highest I could get was around 36.

Easily upgraded to i7.

You have to be realistic about these things.

Rings with +damage and +atkspd make a huge difference. All my chars are in the high 40s now with just rings and mediocre weapons.
Slap a yellow 17 dps weapon on, and some crafted +stat armor, ta-da! :stuck_out_tongue:

Ultra rare, low level Mara’s? :stuck_out_tongue:

You have to be realistic about these things.

Man, there is a lot of “I need a new/upgrade my PC” talk for Diablo 3.

Check out my sig.And check out this page on my site. For SRK members, subtract 200 off of any build you can come up with. Maybe more, just PM me and I can always cut back a little more for you. And, although it isn’t on the site directly, I do built completely custom machines from the ground up. The products that are currently on the page are more of a blueprint.

The Arma Mini, with AMD, will be more than powerful enough to run Diablo 3, as I have one that runs BF3, Skyrim, The Witcher 2, and Metro 2033. It has a ton of room to upgrade, so if the CPU/RAM/GPU end up being out dated in a few years, the motherboard does support the newer hardware that is coming out.

Odin, can I get a link on the front page of this thread?

i got about 57 on my DH. just keep recrafting gear till u craft a bunch of +dexterity gear. and i had 2 +atk spd rings. and i dual wielded to 1 hand bows. bought the bows from the same merchant u buy the rings from.

Because there was only 1 place you can get them, from the skele pack before Leoric. Grab last waypoint, farm pack, quit game… make new game, goto waypint, farm pack…

Its literally the only thing some people were doing because you could make easy beta bucks on the AH, so it kinda ruins the point of having a beta when people are farming one spot.

Blizzard’s filtering is god tier. They catch EVERYTHING. Kill a MOB in a coordinate too far away from it’s spawn? Boom! A flag is triggered and a dev knows about it. Looting more good items than is statistically possible? Flag! Killing MOBs faster than what your DPS rating should allow for? You know the rest. It’s pretty awesome.

Those Keen Rings of Wounding are so precious.

AND WHY THE FUCK IS THERE DURABILITY ON JEWELRY?
STUPID BLIZZARD

I put this together for my SRK Brethren.

Introducing the Clockwork D.

This machine will run Diablo 3 without a hiccup, as well as a lot of other high end games. It already includes the SRK member discount of $250 vs my regular retail machines. I put in some extra customization options such as different chassis, and more powerful hardware. However the default build is more than adequate for D3.

Hey so as a Wizard, how do you increase your spells damage? Just increase weapons with higher DPS?

Apparently, yeah. Also INT directly effects your spell damage.

Ding ding!
This is how they got around removed +skill items.
And I actually like it, since a wiz or doc can get really strong from finding a sweet sword or something.

I just realized that +skill items will be removed. Whoa.

I think INT needs to scale better with damage. I can see Wizards using high dps daggers to gain more spell damage, when in reality they should be staves/wands/whatever with big INT buffs.

That’s why this was invented.

You can get probably get around 100 dps with the WH in beta with soul harvest. 5 stacks of that would put your int over 200, which means a 200% increase in damage. Highest I got it was around 92 dps but I didn’t even transfer all my gear from my wiz to see how high I can get it and I didn’t really have any aspd gear like I had with my DH.

Also int scales the same as other stats. It seems 1 point = 1% when you read the tool tip on the stat. I think you probably just had a really bad weapon if you are having a bad experience with a wiz. I had a 15.9 wand and a 15.3 staff (My only yellow from Leoric for the wiz sadly). The wand was better if I wanted to attack constantly with spectral but if I just wanted burst damage with arcane burst the staff did more damage.
