Been playing my barb since May 15th and I finally beat act 4 inferno solo. Barb is too fun, I’ll never start up a DH.

I’m not really excited about the fact that they are making act 3 and 4 inferno easier for melee. I think it’s fine the way it is now, except for a few mobs (tongue fuckers in act 3). I’m enjoying the fact I’m one of the few barbs that can beat inferno solo.

I was about to sell everything my barb is wearing for real money but apparently I can’t use the RMAH. I’m using Virgin Mobile and blizzard won’t let me get the security things I need to use the RMAH. FML.

Just because some people can clear it doesn’t mean that it’s fine; it’s pretty obvious that the game and melee are inherently flawed by design. From resource systems for melee to mob behavior, damage, and numerous anti-melee elite modifiers, melee is in a pretty shit state. It’s pretty bad when the game is in a state in which there is really no reason to play melee if you want to progress in the game.

I wish you could map the movement keys in this game. That way I could connect my arcade stick that uses a Seimitsu stick because trying to progress through Act 2 with melee is like playing a game of BULLET HELL™. Illusionist Fast Molten Shielding Champion Sand Wasps w/ Lacuni bomb tosser assists for the trololol.

Decided to progress to A2 with my DH instead of killing ponies all day and honestly, the most difficult thing are invisible snakes. But wait! I too can go invisible! I just use the when-in-doubt-mash-this-button-for-instant-win for Demon Hunters everywhere… I mean activate smoke screen.

How strong are the monsters in the pony level?

they are about like act4 monsters, def. a step above act3 stuff in my opinion. the only things are you can glitch ponies at a certain point on the map where the cat is, so if you get a elite pack of ponies that you can’t handle take them there… if you get a elite pack of flowers or carebears you can’t handle then you gotta dump them in a corner… hopefully you don’t have to dump stuff too often though.

dam seigbrekaer runs have definetly been nerfed, it cant just be rng. i keep getting runs where i get a total of 5 rares from 5 elite packs and seigebreaker(2-3 being from seigbreaker)…it was never like this for me before RMAH went live…shit is terrible. doesnt feel worth the frustration of dealing with the run if i keep getting crap drops.

yeah, I think they nerf’d drops as well. I went from like 2 legendaries a day, down to one every few days. Goblins aren’t even dropping as many rares. They need to lower the act 2/3/4 difficulty, and they need to not make drops suck this fucking bad.

I don’t even do seigebreaker runs either. Same shit, not worth the hassle of dying sooooo many times due to spears, for the chance at possibly seeing a 62 or 63 item level drop. I just do fucking underbridge.

crafting 6 property helms and demon hunter cloaks, just bring me 35 inferno essences, 5 tears, 10 tomes, and 120k(includes crafting cost and my cut). hit me up in game if you ever want one crafted.

I may have to take u up on that offer. Gonna have to set aside some cash. I need a decent helm and cloak.

edit: wtf? I cant sell shit on AH, but I am selling tons of stupid things on the RMAH. And not even the good things I am throwing up there. Somebody paid me 40 bucks overnight for a shit stat Inna’s Refuge o.0

^ MF is random. Yesterday was one of my best days doing goblin runs. I found my first Legendary(Lidless) Natalya’s Soul(boots) a new caster 1H mace rare that was an upgrade, and a couple decent rares on top of those items+a shitload of salavageables.

im interested in that virtue defiance armor but probably too poor

everything in equestria definitely hits harder than act 3. flowers and bears arent too bad for my act 3 geared barb (which is no longer poverty ever since finding a justice lantern while power leveling spirit jewce) but the ponies hit like trucks. if you got multiple ponies doing their attack animation around you, hope that you got some dodges or blocks because that will spike you down like nothing. its not so bad if you can limit the number of ponies simultaneously hitting you or if your cooldowns are up. elite ponies are much harder than bear/flower ones but its actually good to get those because you can glitch them and kill them for free.

oh yeah everything in there besides retarded affix elites is free for ranged. it was cool to kill a few elite packs on my barb, but theres no way in hell im doing that again without a ranged teammate to murder things.

man, i wish i could fucking get lucky on some drops for my DH to actually be able to deal with random inferno elites/champs with retarded shit like fast invul/shield, molten, ravishing anus, etc.

i’ve been looking for movement speed increase items and they are either super shitty or way beyond my current price range. poor as fuck, 350k baby!

edit: gonna run some more hell siegebreaker in hopes of finding something i can actually sell for a decent amount to afford some good/decent upgrades (hopefully with movespeed inc).

while we are on the subject of crafting i guess i’ll put myself out there, i have all 4 flawless stars and perfect star topaz (this will continue to grow as i like gem crafting)

on the blacksmith side of things i have a few 6 prop plans and a ton of 5 prop ones, they are as follows:
6 props- grand strike wand, grand dread shield, grand wizard hat

5 props - orbit stones, barb 2h axe, strike wand, belt, boots, helm, pants, shoulders.

so… yeah get at me if your looking for any crafts. and omfg did prices on tomes of secret jump like crazy the past day or 2… had some dude in the chat channel accuse me of “scamming” people cause i was offering 300 /ea for tomes last night. he went on and on about how me lowballing on those was scamming… super annoying.

The map is randomly generated but there are always the same set pieces. Look for a rock/tree that is really close to the water but you can walk through. It usually is on a horizontal strip of land. They just get stuck there because ponies are too big and sometimes large flowers/bears get stuck too like the last avenger mob.

Also if it’s a teleport mortar or something anti range, just stay right out side of it’s max range and they wouldn’t do shit to you using this. I killed Nightmarity (super-unique pony, shoots arcane bolts and teleports) this way.

Seriously, what does it take to finish act 2? I now have like 30k DPS and over 400 in all resistances but I cannot finish Blood and Sand because of elite packs in the betrayer dungeon.
