Official Diablo 4 Thread : Hype train departing

Kind of an oversight on Blizzard’s part - in D2 you had to kill each boss to move onto the next act, in D3 you merely need to kill Diablo and you can move onto the next difficulty. There are level restrictions though, you can’t set foot in Nightmare until you’re 25+ (I forget the level restrictions for Hell and Inferno).

It takes you less than half an hour to get your three Diablos killed. The majority of those 7 hours is spent with Zulton Kulle x3 runners who will get you to 60.

It used to take even less time than that, before Blizzard nerfed the Azmodan run.

these stats any good? i would just compare to whats on the auction house…but that shit is down(whats new?)

Ahhh, if only I could be like Russell Shirley and play for 28 straight hours I’d level the other 4 classes to 60 right now before Blizzard fixes the Kulle quest by the end of the weekend.

dam wish i knew about that exploit. i wanted to make a barb so bad, but didnt feel like going through the grind.

just got a message that said i have been d/cd because someone else logged onto my account from another computer

i got back on and changed my pw…seemed to have stopped. hopefully i still have my stuff the next time i log on

I’m feeling way more comfortable in act 2 now. There’s some mobs that I never want to face as a unique though. Belial phase 2 is getting real annoying. I got him to a quarter solo before somehow he one shotted me even though he never did that before. I’m guessing I got hit by 3 fireballs at once or something. It also seems really hard with more people because bursting down seems harder.

Been doing magda runs, and tried a kulle run. The ceiling drop kulle is random in that sometimes I get hit by 3 rocks at once, and other times I just get hit once. It’s annoying if I get instaklled by it when I don’t have diamond armor up.

Okay what is this Kulle quest

As a Monk midway through Act 2 in Hell I can definitely relate to you guys having problems in this Act (had problems in Act 1 too). I’m getting the most WTF combinations of bullshit I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen 40 angry bulls charging at my ass.

The thing is, is that I have builds for certain situations and a lot of my time is remembering which one goes where, and what rune to put it on. There needs to be some way we can save these.

I experimented being a Monk style glass cannon as well building around wave of light/7 sided strike/mantra of conviction/becon of ytar and heavy two hander. It goes decently in the outside areas where you can run and wait for cool downs but in dungeons it’s a bit more dangerous. It works wonders on normal mobs, decent against elites who don’t have a lot of life.

And this is all just solo play so take it for what you will.

Seems fine to me. Maybe someone was feeling fair amidst the sea of bullshit that the auction house is right now.

Act II, Black Soulstone. You can go right to killing Zoltun Kulle then turning in the quest for fast exp, and use the same turn in trick that was used for Azmodan. Less exp/turn ins, but it’s faster.

By that logic you would probably never play any new release ever. Including dragons dogma based on threads that hate on that game. :coffee:

dude, I’ve tried using that logic with him, it just ain’t working. He seems to not understand that some of the big games like this, require constant patching. He loved Diablo II, but doesn’t seem to wanna acknowledge the 10 years of patches and upgrades it had to go through to become the legend that it was.

Dying with a level 50 wiz, in Hell, when you’re trying to solo things WHILE IN A PARTY, wearing gear thats 20 levels too low = blizzard made a gay game

edit: I crafted a pair of boots last night, that I just sold for 2 million gold

feelsgoodman.jpg

So you mean crafting does work? Whenever I craft I just get shitty items so I just stopped.

Damn people legit buy stuff for 2 million gold? Is there a dupe trick or are people able to farm that much cash easier once grinding Inferno?

Once you get to Inferno, all it takes is that one lucky drop to make you 500k.
Then you just snowball from there.

yeah you get more money in inferno

well my stuff is still there looks like im safe from leet hackers for now

i like how when i play with sixmachines wizard hes the “tank” of our lil group because dh literally cant take 1 hit, unless they get gdlk gear with dps and hp

time to fail at belial and then farm till i outgear the content (this is a mantra if u keep repeating it, it will happen)

Here’s the stats for the item: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/tal-rashas-horadric-crest

Looks like you’ve got perfect vit and int. Poison resist is your random magic resist property.

I say good find.

Just about on hell mode finally, was highly annoyed in act2 till I read the gear link that I think specs posted… So far it seems like all my d2 instincts were shooting me in the foot.

Anyways, was whoring out early nightmare with 130% mf… Then dropped to 60 and am now down at 8… And what I have found is that the stat seems to scale exponentially past a certain point,(100 if I had to guess) so to those that completely wrote it ofv I wouldnt be too quick to call that.

I never crafted until I maxed my armorer out. And I only max max level stuff. If it ain’t level 60, just buy it in the AH. Why waste money and resources to get a crappy item you dont want, when you can AH (when it works lol)

and these boots were EPIC barbarian boots, too.

Heavy ass day traders. Or hackers with free funds just buying shit as soon as it hits market.

Can anyone hook me up with a guest pass? I want to see if I can run D3 on my laptop. I have enough memory and my processor is powerful enough. Just don’t know about the graphics card. When I ran a test it gave me a 2/5 for graphics, so I don’t know if it’ll look like garbage on here.
