I honestly never knew anything about Darkstalkers until MvC1 came around (and later, MvC2, then the re-releases of the Darkstalkers games).
I think it’s time that we see something else from Capcom besides Street Fighter and (as much as I love them, but) the Capcom Vs. series.

DS would not feel right in the SF4/MvC3 engines. If absolutely necessary I guess it’d be fine but I think it’d be much better suited to the anime style it started out with.

Does it matter? The new generation never got a chance to see what’s up, and this is the perfect opportunity. Granted, telling them to go play the older games would make them understand, but wouldn’t help much since they’re of CPS2 quality which isn’t very good to today’s standards.
