All of the ebs I called do not have this damn game

Is the game identical to arcade, or did they make improvements to it to fix the problems?
These big chains stores are all garbage. I love the fact I have no name store by my house. They get all the games on the release date and don’t lie to you about shit.
I’m pretty sure they took out Ashley’s infinite, at the very least. Maybe damage adjustments too?
PS Game is great thus far, even if I can’t do 360s on the 360 d-pad to save my life

the ps3 version has the same balance changes:
- no ashley infinite
- can’t do meaty command grabs
and yes, you can turn these back on in the options menu for both consoles
As i thought they would, those are prety much the only changes the game needs, IMO.
Hey Buktooth, are there any ways to combo into heat activations, or do them during specials? For some reason I remember reading that if you do specials with A+C you go into heat mode while in the special, but I haven’t been able to pull it off. Any tricks for how / when to go into heat mode?
^depends on what char u usin. to do them during special moves for example u want to attack with heat lets say ashley 236A/C u do 236A+C.

Found a copy at a GameStop today and love it! I’m just looking for b&b for the characters. Also, it’s dead on LIVE. And what version should I play, the consumer or original mode?
You want to keep it on Consumer, so you can’t do the 2 things that got the game bad hype in the beginning.
I’m sure live is going to be dead for a bit till more people play the game.
original only for me. if u see my created game its gonna be original. giving a heads up if u guys dont like playing original.
the easiest way to combo into heat up is to land a gachi drive (bounce parry). bounce parry -> jump + activate -> do whatever
this is particularly important for deathbringer
other than that, you can heat up as you’re performing the first move in a combo
for example, freed can quickly pull out heat + overhead rush punch with b,f + A+C+B
A+C performs the heat up, b gets you the rush punch overhead
basically think of it as heat up having no start up or recovery frames, but you can’t do it in the middle of a move. you can’t activate coyori’s heat up in the middle of a combo, for example (that would be pretty messed up, too)
so basically, if your character has good heat up combos (deathbringer, urs, coyori, etc), activate it after gachi drive or right as you do the first hit of the combo (generally in big punish situations like after blocking a dp)
