net code so far is like hit or miss. I wish it would give me an indication of ping or something. So far I only notice ping when its an invite.

also if your ping is 70ms or lower then you’re good to go! anything more than that tends to be laggy/unplayable
edit: i wonder if there’s any hope of arcsys patching up the netcode to blazblue status T.T

EDIT: I think I found my character for now, won my first 2 matches with Odile online, it wasn’t that bad. Also it seems it does tell you the Ping of your opponent when they join you, is on the bottom., so you can quit if it has big ping.
I played the PS3 online today with a guy with 100ms ping and it was decent. I imagine if I could play with someone else in NorCal then the online play would be pretty good. Anyone else in Cali who got it on PS3 feel free to add me.
Played the shit out of this over the weekend, still love it but don’t have Odile’s stuff all down yet.

I have mixed feelings about online. I’d feel better if my rekkas weren’t dropped and I didn’t get a 2A then bazooka super when I attempt to go for the full combo. I’m still looking forward to some games with SRK people. Some guy got mad at me for just doing 2A, 2B xx 236 A. It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t get matched with the same 2 people over and over.

So I’m playing Face right now and how am I supposed to use Texas Knee? Right now, I’m using it to build meter after throw but I’m afraid of using it as anti air because it doesn’t have invincibility. I’m afraid of using it as a poke too because it seems too punishable. Do I have to space it SF4 Sagat style?
I also can’t seem to get the Heat Up bullet combos down but that’s probably because I suck. Either way, I end up just saving the meter for wake up super since that shit comes out in 2 frames (according to nohoho’s site) and it seems safe or for a hitconfirmed super cancel.
I’m doing a jumping C, 5D xx 623D off a high gachi but I can probably do better. I wish there was more information. I actually read all 43 pages of the thread hoping to find something. I guess all that’s left to do is to watch videos and hit up training mode.

Man, I’m getting a lot of Rage Quitters in BF, more than any other game I have played in PSN. Still got some good matches online, most of the time the lag is playable or I get lag free matches, which are awesome.
I got a awesome lag free match today and the guy rage quit on me, what a waste of connection. =/
some of the rage quits are not really rage quits. the netplay tends to desynch a lot
