I had the same problem. The had the SKU in the system but said they had no release date (even thought the website has it) nor could they reserve it for me. I have a hunch it won’t exactly fly off shelves though.
Anyone know if its in store yet?
none of the gamestops here even know what the game is… not in the computer or anything even tho its suppose to release today.
On their computers, it says active (when I tried to reserve it yesterday). I just called today to see if they had it, and it’s no longer on the release date, which means that it’s out, but the GameStop’s have not received them yet. I would check tomorrow; most of the time, on their website or on their computer, when you see the date (for example, this game) 09/16/08 means that it shipped to the other stores and most of the time, the stores get them in the next day. Then again, you might find it around a Walmart or Best Buy now if you really look for it.
I just checked the websites for Best Buy and Circuit City, and they didn’t have it listed online. However, Amazon says it will be in stock on September 18th:

it’s a no hype title so nobody’s going to know what it is.
it might be one of those games they only send as many copies as preorders. dq iv was supposed to come out yesterday and it didn’t come in till today, so bf might be the same way
The guy at GameStop said that it wasn’t a priority game, and that it probably would not be one-day shipped. He said to come back in about 2 weeks and they should have it. The same thing happened with KoF: NeoWave on the XBOX, and Baroque for the PS2.
I’m gonna pick it up when I find it in the stores.
I talked to a person at GameCrazy. They said they should have it after 12 P.M. tomorrow.
I called Gamestop and asked them about having it and after about five minutes of them muddling around he came back and told me that the have nothing in their computers for “Battle Station Asia.” 
I had a good laugh about it.
Yeah at least my GS has it in their computer.
Hope they get it soon.
