But srsly, people have been saying it’s 3S with Guilty Gear characters. I agree, I guess. Either way, the game is fun.

I might be…for the PS3. But I mainly want to fight in AE.
It does feel a lot like 3rd Strike, but the characters are very, very cool (like GG I guess o.O)

Edit: How abusable is parry? 3s stupid or just a little stupid? Because I don’t want this to turn into another game where AA and good playing is overruled by lucky mashing guesses at the tap of a button and fireballs are rendered useless.

parrying is much, much higher risk than 3s. it’s still necessary to deal with certain things (face rekkas, coyori jump D, cedric 4B, etc), but overzealous use of parrying will get you absolutely killed
parries have a huge whiff animation in battle fantasia, and high level play involves a lot of baiting parry whiffs and punishing them with a big combo
I learned that today thanks alot tho. I like that about the game. I think it moves at a good pace and no real stupid things from the balancing and removal of infinites. Oh and winning with watson is a chore.

As for PS3/360 issues, Ii say trhe 360 should be the new standard actually, with T6 BR confirmed for 360 that makes every major next gen fighter available for the 360, and there’s several choices of stick AND a converter already availabe for PS2 sticks. Not to mention the 360 is cheaper.
I haven’t tried the online yet, but Im going to be on in a bit if anyone wants to get some games in.

i just got this game and i must say… IT’S TIGHT!
i have never played any real people before tho so bear with me… just been in training mode trying to get down some bnb’s, full parrying marcos super (easy, first and fifth hits only parts that require any timing) but i wont be trying to parry much online 'cause of latency…
any chance that this game will pickup more folks playing??? it seems like a combo of 3s, GG, and sf4 with a little bit of tvc move timings on normals. capcom seems to have bit off this game hard with sf4 and tvc which is ok cause EVERYONE has bitten off of capcom.

add me if you want a combo dummy who only blocks on occasion, i dont mind getting my ass whooped by the pros as thats the only way to learn.
