That is an excellent idea. I never knew that he made a good anchor though as everyone always seems to play him first or second.
So far I have possible anchors of: Taskmaster,Hawkeye and Magneto(now). Is there any ideas of others? Also do anybody think any of these donāt cut it as anchors? Sorry about all of the questions, I just want to make sure I get the right anchor for me.
So this brings up the question on how to hit-confirm with viper with only rapid slash left availble after i lost zero. Are there good setups with rapid slash?
That team could work. Are you planning on runaway with Chris? If you are, Sent. A-Sentinel Force is a brilliant assist. I suggest using Sentinel as anchor, since he has easy combos, gets a good boost from X-factor, and one simple combo can kill most characters. Taskmaster should be an assist character since his Legion Arrowās multiple angles make for a good DHC possibility. His assist B- Aim Master M covers an area that Chris has trouble covering- the area above him. you could also use assist Y to try to get opponents off of Chris.
If you do not want to zone, I reccoment Taskmaster on point because Chrisās assist B-Machine Gun Fire is good for quickly covering fullscreen, something none of Taskās projectiles, or even Sentās drones could do. I never played much taskmaster, so i am unsure of whether the strait down version of legion arrow in the air or the strait up version on the ground would DHC into Chrisās Sweep Combo. But sent is definitly best used on anchor, for simplicity, speed, and his available options. (mouth lazers, Sentinel Forces, Combos, Flight, quick startup fully invincible hypers, ect.
By the way, I have a similar question. Three characters that I would really like to make a team with are Sent, Ghost Rider, and Super Skrull. Is there any way I could make that work? I know I want Sent. Drones on anchor, but other than that, could this team work? What order/assists should I use for ghost rider/Skrull and why?
P.S. dont forget to always pick the Mango Sentinel!
I donāt think so really. Your main goal at this point would be to use rapid slash to put them in block stun, then get your high/low game going from there.

But, does somebody has any Suggestions regarding going in with Zero:
-call vergil assist; j > qcb+M > H
Depending on how i land H with Zero, the vergil RS assist sends my opponent flying into the air, able to catch him with a launcher or landing right behind my opponent on the ground, able to continue my combo with s.M
Does this provide a decent way to get in?
Regarding Zero Iāve already expanded my moveset and now I try goin in with pseudo dive kicks, j.2H, variations of Hienkyaku and hit-confirming with lvl3 Buster into hienkyaku L or Raikoussen L
Regarding Vergil a good mixup seems to be either letting round trip put my opponent into hitstun > Spiral Swords > teleport in or Rapidslash > devil trigger or Spiral swords
Is my overall team setup viable? Is there something i can change?
Looking for recommendations for a point character. Iām using Skrull second, and Taskmaster as an anchor. What have you guys seen/used that has synergy with the team. Feel free to list characters of any tier. I enjoy playing people that arenāt Doom/Wesker to add variety to this game. So comments, suggestions, thanks for the help!
Going to list some possible points Iāve heard of. Plz add on these if you know anything about them.
X-23 - I imagine she can use Task assist to help with rushdown. I havenāt seen a video of it but apparently there is some interesting setups with tenderizer and dirt nap on switch ins. Her spinning wheel super can DHC into inferno.
Mayor of Earth- Arrows help him close ground and they may even be able to to extend his corner combos. Stone smite works well.
Iron Fist- Donāt know much about this character at all.

I am dropping Doom from my main team for similar reasons. He is just getting meh. I get burned out seeing him everywhere and he is getting a bit boring for me.
Just a suggestion but I never see people play Chun Li. It would be awesome to see Chun Li action. Play whoever you enjoy of course.
Iād personally recommend putting Skrull on anchor position because Skrull under X3 conditions can singlehandedly win you games. Task can play clean up but heās not as good with the comebacks.
Youāve actually got a lot of flexibility in who your point character is; most of the characters in the game love Taskās Arrows.

Strider. Best possible option for that position imo.
What do you think is the best team order/assist to use. Currently its Dormammu on point with dark hole, followed by doom on beam, and ammy cold star. I like this a lot and it works. but slow dormammu up front has made me start to think. what about doom, dorm, ammy? or should it be doom ammy dorm? one thing forsure though i must have ammy backing up doom. cold star/ team super shenanigans are to good.

Ammyās got the assist which both Doom and Dorm can use. Dormās considered best in the 2nd position anyway as his DHCs are great and he has damaging TACs and Ammy is a solid anchor with or without XF, and if Dorm ends up 3rd he too is a more than solid anchor in XF.
Currently having a team crisis, need a little help if anyone is willing to offer.
My main team right now is Captain America/Taskmaster/Nova, but I feel like that isnāt getting the job done too well. My Taskmaster seems to have deteriorated a bit since Vanilla, but Iām not sure who else to use really, and I feel like Nova isnāt exactly that great in the anchor spot, even though heās pulled me out of many binds and is probably one of my best characters alongside Cap.
Basically, Iām just looking for idea/advice on an anchor that could work well with my team. Iām willing to learn most new characters, with the notable exception of the DMC characters, the RE cast, the Darkstalkers, and, well, thatās mostly it.
If anyone has any ideas on an anchor (or a way to set up my team or something) that would be most appreciated, thanks very much!

How would you set up one, or preferably two teams out of those?
Are there any characters I should learn in addition? Right now I am working on Viper, Taskmaster, and Doomā¦ though Viper is hard like Joe since I play online. I practice combos w/ latency at either 3 or 4, but the problem is the input delay is inconsistent. If it was permanently there at say 3-4 frames that would be great. So basically what Iām saying, is please donāt recommend any overly technical characters. I doubt I can do the 750k+ Viper combos, or the Firebrand mix ups especially online.

Iāve been running Wesker, Vergil, and Strider (in no particular order) since day one and to this day, I really canāt decide on the best order for this team. My main 2 orders have been Vergil/Wesker/Strider and Wesker/Vergil/Strider. Just from my observation alone, however, I donāt feel that this team gets as much mileage with Wesker as anchor, but thatās just me. What are your opinions on the best order for this team? Detailed explanations would greatly benefit.
Ok, I have been running my team for almost all of ultimate. I am a huge Haggar fan and used him in vanilla right up until I realized I was mostly just using his assist as a crutch. Ive was originally running Haggar(lariat)/Frank(cart)/Hawkeye(poison tip) which gave me 2 assists to relaunch with haggar plus poison added to both haggar and frank combos. I recently switched over to triple shot assist which has been much better but has made me aware of another problem with my team, if haggar goes down before leveling up frank, Frank is left on his own to level because triple shot doesnt help other than to open people up.
So I am looking for a new anchor. I need someone who helps with relaunching for both Haggar and Frank. I would also prefer an assist that allows frank to do his series, snap a photo and relaunch for another series into another photo but it could just be some sort of otg. Lastly, I am looking for someone who is good on anchor. I use XF with haggar to kill more and more often so they dont have to be incredible in xf3 but it would help. I really, dont want to use wesker. Any suggestions?
